I'm REALLY excited about this song! It's the first time I ever did a brain storm with my ideas for a song and then made an outline and wrote all the lyrics before I had any melody whatsoever. I struggled so much with the melody that I scrapped what I had and asked my sweet husband for some help with his guitar skills. Here's my song for day 2 of this year's [5in5]. Inspired by my day today :) Maybe a little exaggerated, there's no mold in my shower, but I do need a shower and my laundry is piled everywhere! Not the greatest shot of my head, but I got the music right so... I don't care! :)

Remembering 9/11 - two towers

My two year old son built this today, 9/11/11 and said, "Look Mommy, I made two towers. He had no idea the significance. Two towers on the back of a fire truck.... Remembering 9/11/01.

Thank you so much for your kind words. I have a feeling it's going to be awhile before I get an album out, but I'm getting ready to start another music writing project so I'll post more stuff on here in the coming months.
