The book, Rich Dad Poor Dad is written by Robert Kiyosaki and Sharon Lechter. It explains the necessity of financial education , starting and owning businesses, real estate investing, financial independence and building wealth through investing in assets and increasing one’s financial intelligence so that one can improve his/her business and financial aptitude.
Mainly, Rich Dad Poor Dad is Robert’s story of growing up with two dads. One of them is his real father while the other is the father of his best friend, who is his rich dad. Rich Dad Poor Dad is one of the most popular books written on financial education. This book was originally self-published in 1997 before being picked up commercially to become one of the bestsellers of the New York Times. Since its publication, it has sold over 32 million copies and has become a household name.
