You say you're "nerfing" yourself picking Haegang when it is contradictory. Let me explain why. The reason you pick Haegang is because you struggle against him with your style of play. While others struggle against your style of play if they weren't to have Haegang. Basically, nerfing Haegang is not a problem for you if he were to be nerfed but a problem for many of your opponents.

Good ass video. You do sound like a crybaby but youre backing it up. Complaining is what we need, and yeah on the haegang nerfs I wholly agree. However I also think Haegang is the fine line thats keeping so much in check. I'm worried about how the meta will destabilize with haegang out of it. We can only see it when it happens. But im worried about the strength of stuff haegang keeps in check. Granted those teams also spam haegang as not to face it

the thing is if they nerf the only RTA heroes they are completly useless since they are only used like for one place like Julianne. But what about heroes that are used in like 2 3 places? or noone? like how many LD5s are out there which are basically in the storage if you do not want to flex arround - they should focus on buffing not nerfing.

I just want them to revert the glancing despair buff. So many units, especially haegang would feel a bit less annoying with this.

Yeah acog sounds like a crybaby in these videos but agree it’s what the community needs. We need this type of discussion even if it’s overdramatic. I appreciate how he does back up his complaints with valid points but I do respectfully disagree with many of his points. Haegang isn’t op. He’s simply the perfect fit for this meta. The problem is the meta hasn’t changed. Not only does he counter the control & turn cycling meta, but he does it himself. Take his skill in a vacuum, he is not too strong. IMO he’d be weak to cleave, but unfortunately, cleave is so weak since c2u made so many hard counters to it. Don’t know what the actual answer to shifting the meta is, but nerfing Haegang won’t do it - it’ll just take the most accessible piece out of the equation (ie. LD havers win). Pre-ban isn’t good for ladder. At least for non-LD ppl. Imagine you had a crazy Shan + Maxi combo or something (idk like Tablo comp maybe).. and then you could also just ban Leo for free every match. Why would you not spam this endlessly? Pre-ban is fine for tournament play because it’s whale v whale anyway, and let’s face it it’s a completely different mode when you know who you’re facing. Point is, a lot of LDs are kept in check due to there existing a somewhat accessible hard counter. The player who has the LD knows this and can ban it every time, but the opponent who doesn’t has no idea who they’re facing and cannot “counter ban”. I could be way off base here, but that’s my take. In all honesty, this game is very well balanced .. WHEN PUT INTO THE PERSPECTIVE OF A GACHA. Summoners war is one of the few, if not the only gacha, that has ever made a passably competitive pvp. You can’t achieve that without a shadow of a clue on balancing. Let’s not kid ourselves, if we were to compare against a competitive “esport”, it’s obviously a joke to say it’s balanced. But when compared to games in the gacha space, it has leaps and bounds better balancing. Most other gachas don’t even have balance patches at all; every other unit release is a massive power creep - making any semblance of pvp basically nonexistent. For having what we have in Summoners War, I give c2u credit. But it also obviously can be better. Thanks for reading my rant.

I lowkey saw this coming, that's why I didn't leave any accusations / hate 🤣🤣 Turn 2 dies if HG goes since no other monster RELIABLY hard counters strip / CC / hax for the whole team (on the _enemy_ turn). That is often the difference between a W / L into T1 comps. Nothing else comes close. My opinion!

So the main issue is that rta feels boring, because the meta didn't change alot for a long time is what I understood after listening to the whole video. And they can't buff and nerf units just because some people want it because some people maybe just pulled those units and they also take a while to skillup so some people would feel wronged. They also won't add pre ban because some end game players have very complete boxes and "rune set freedom" to get a big advantage just by a preban and a ban. Then, I think, this could be fixed by shortening the season, or dividing the season in different segment, where you can't pick certain units, families, above or bellow base spds, or spd leaders could bring some spice. This is an incomplete idea and could be developed into something bigger by constructive criticism and adding or deducting more aspects to it.

Maybe create a skill that zeros atk bar on all units that are cleansed. Passive or skill

12 minutes into the video and I can't watch the whole thing right now but I'll leave a comment I wanted to make on the other one. Com2us shouldn't be afraid of making meta changing balance patches. Maybe not so frequently, once or twice a year, I guess. Let's say a unit is too strong, lot's of people picking it. It should get a small nerf and another unit should get a buff to "try" to fill in the niche that previous unit filled before BUT with some differences. I think that would be a way to make the game feel fresh.

I am not saying hae, rag are balanced, neither is smicer all of them need a nerf, but I was taking smicer as example as he is one of the main issue with me when It comes to RTA compared to hae and rag, and yeah as you mentioned robo are not consistent but I don't just complain about it, as I run stuff with 85% and 100% acc, and I lose most of the game with that fuking 15% res most of the time, I am saying is that I am not disagreeing with you, yeah they need to be nerfed, but what I want is to see stuff buffed so that we can utilize most stuff as counter

If it’s one thing I know about Acog, he’s the least emotional and subjective about his opinions. Whether or not you agree with his view, he’s not doing it for personal preference or just to complain. I find it funny how, in 2024, people still don't understand how critiques are necessary to improve a game and, most of all, people would never spend time giving suggestions for something that they don't care about. These people don't know that SW today has a ton of QoL because someone complained, but yet, they loved these implementations. Like, if it weren't for complaints, we wouldn't even have auto battles!

A free 40k dmg if you don’t have resets is dumb asl Sonia: remove the 50% atb thing on glancing hits or severely nerf it. Such a dumb addition… Julianne: removes only 2 debuffs OR only removed turn-prohibiting debuff(stun, freeze, etc.) Buffs: Buff the forgotten collab units already… Please buff wind desert warrior.
