I generally don't include plant info because I am more interested in sharing a bit of the beauty in our little part of God's creation...there is a ton of info out there so the little bit I could add would basically be redundant... my bigges...

Many years ago I saw my first Martagon Lilies clump in a photo in an article in Horticulture Magazine... so lovely blooming in shade and I felt I needed to give them a try... I have a bit of a different philosphy in that regard... there are so many channels that offer all sorts of information... I generally prefer to concentrate on the beauty of the blessing of gardening...

Beautiful. What were those blue flowers? What state are you in?
I'm guessing you are referring to the woodland Phlox (Phlox divaricata)... I love combining with other spring ephemerals, especially Primula sieboldiana... thanks for watching! We are located in east central Wisconsin... the gardens are two acres of former cattle pasture and corn field that we began to develop from scratch 52 years ago... L
