Every country, every community are strongly tied together by an intricate tapestry of individual values, norms and a specific history. Amalla has always been known for her rich cultural heritage. It is the most cultural community in Enugu State. Because of this some erroneously believe that one can consult and infact see ones ancestors and dead relatives in Amalla. I honestly appreciate the good people of this beautiful community. The 'egara' is laced with words of wisdom. The Onwa Esa festival in Amalla Egazi is a must watch for those who love rich culture and entertainment. It is more like el carnaval of Brazil (carnival) and some other parts of South America.
