I appreciate this..I just listened to The World as Will and Idea a few months ago on audiobook for the first time. This is a very different aural experience haha of his words.

I did. I listened to the whole thing twice, the second time without watching, just listening. I get where it is coming from, I created pieces with a similar intent/result as a composition student. Using 'ironic' quotes, layered texts, detuned instruments (no quarter tone pianos available), Cagean chance decisions and so on. I listened to a lot of Webern Stravinsky, Cage, Partch, Henrys: Cowell and Cow, Bartok and Shostakovitch etc I didn't pursue composition, probably just as well. But I still listen the hell out of stuff!

Being a longtime Cardiacs fan, I could not pass by without praising you. Thats is awesome, man!
