I put owners draw in the expenses as I am using the spreadsheet to calculate business expenses, my owners draw is paying me as an individual, not as a business and that's why I do that how to: In the document, click on the 'Expense' tab, complete fields 'date', 'vendor: your name', 'category: owners draw'

I put contractor pay in the expenses tab as well as it's a business expense. How to: In the document, click on 'Expense' tab, complete fields 'date', 'vendor: contractor name | job title', 'category: contractors'

As for the commission paid under expenses, that's something interesting that I don't deal with in my business so I haven't added that to the spreadsheet. Im so sorry

Thank you for such sweet words :) So for the confetti/champagne popping moment (4:23) you can see a light popping behind me. I had an AD200 on a chair aimed to the white ceiling. I am unsure of the power but I test the scene without flash first and then turn on the flash trigger and ad200 to try different settings as "test shots" before taking "real" photos. That way I am happy with how they will look. I prefer off camera lighting to allow creativity. To move around my subject and get different light. I also am a fan of lighter gear as adding a flash on it causes hand cramps! haha - hope this helps?!

@@nkflight4647 you will be so happy with the results! I learned everything I know, mainly from practice, and watching the How I shot it videos on their youtube channel

I like one flash directed at the couple using a #maggrid and #magsphere @magnetmod and another flash with the same combo directed at the speaker - both lights at 45 degree angles. IF low ceilings, that doesn't have to change either :) keep the lights up high and angled down to avoid intense shadows

@Miranda Suess haha yes I did. And I'd like to say I learned my lesson.... But I have 10 booked as of right now for next October. So I guess I'm just a glutton for punishment. Haha. I will, However, never do 4 weddings in a row again. I did that twice this past season, and that is just absolute hell. I'm based out of Boston, and my 4th wedding in a row last October 6-7-8-9 was up at Jay Peak, VT, so it was a 5-hour drive for me. The wedding the day before went until midnight and by the time i got home and showered and backed up my cards and put all my batteries in their chargers, it was like 3am. I simply didn't trust myself to sleep for 3 hours and actually wake up to drive to VT. So I pulled an all night er. And oh my God. When I got home at like 3 am the following morning from the 4th wedding in VT, when I say I've never been so tired in my life. IVE NEVER BEEN SO TIRED IN MY LIFE lol. And that is still an understatement. I didn't even shower (which I never not do after a wedding). I just collapsed in my bed and slept for 18 hours straight! But it's all worth it, I guess. I can't complain about being my own boss and doing what I love.

I can agree with this statement but also see as a guest that I would want to capture the epic moment on my phone too. But there's a happy medium where the guests can take a few seconds to snap the photo before the ceremony proceeds and then turn off their devices so that the photo/video team can capture the rest of the wedding ceremony and guests can soak up the moments

i believe at one point i took it off, but i like having the sphere on it and sometimes pair the grid and sphere together!:) great question!

@@MirandaSuess nice that’s what I do! Do you cross light with two lights or do you use four ad200s? Or 2 on one side?

@@dorabreaux for this one, I had two on one side and then moved to cross light - depends on the wedding and if i feel like moving them haha
