Pathologic 3 is going to be a fundamentally different game, many suspect it's even not gonna be open world. And if not really, it will still definitely be very different from the first one, the devs proofed they are capable of surprising old players, patho 2 deviates quite a lot. I'm sure you're fine with watching the essay by hbomberguy, it's really good. It's especially okay after playing pathologic 2, you are already caught up on the characters and the overarching plot.

Doing good, I've seen people suffer more on lower difficulties. You can crouch with C. It's actual stealth, you are less visible in the shadows, can sneak past bandits. Also you can sneak attack with this with a strong heavy punch or a two-shotting stab, can actually hunt bandits for loot. Cant believe noone backseated this yet. Also when you run from bandits you can just hide in a house, though there can be bandits too. A lot of tips can be seen in the loading screens, I believe you missed one that says you can disperse still plaque clouds with your lamp. Next tips are more on you for missing it in the game so you some may want to stop reading but one must really think outside the box to master it themselves. You can freely loot infected and abandoned houses, except they are hostile. Districts first become infected (red on the map), then abandoned (dark), then they get back to normal. Abandoned districts are filled with bandits, it's those lovely places where you got shanked over and over again. Abandoned houses are especially good, because if you master combat and stealth you actually welcome bandit encounters, they are more loot. There is also a hidden mechanic when you use lockpicks in combat but at this point that is too direct of a hint, ask it yourself from me here or on the stream if you want, someone will know for sure.
