Mini Excavator tearing down a house
Demolishing an old house with Bobcat E35 mini excavator. Lessons learned from this job.
Put the backfill blade down!
Rent a track loader when the dumpster cannot be put next to the structure being demoed.
Build a road/driveway close to the demo site to limit back and forth travel to the dumpster.

1981 Chevy K30 4x4 Dump Truck
มุมมอง 30K6 ปีที่แล้ว
Hadn't been started in 3 weeks. Runs and drives great! Rare find in this shape. Located just outside of Erie, PA
This truck is original with 350 engine???
Sometimes I regret not buying this tractor over my 2025r
Not bad for a truck that age It would be a nice vehicle for grounds keeper of a cemetery.
Sweet ole K30 dump truck... I need one of those. It would come in handy for firewood, gravel and other things. Problem is the K30 dually's have become a rare bird in the Southeast. And if one is found in decent condition, it has a high price tag. Might be easier to convert one of my CUCV trucks to a dually with a dump bed...
This fella likes to pack the snow first, then plow it. Why not? I would. More fun that way.
I'll bet that sombitch will haul a load of firewood
Is the box blade the only ballast you have on the tractor?
The rear tires are loaded with Rim Guard.
New cab no cab lights?
Most definitely not a new cab.
Here's a 1977 Ford F350 Dump for sale ending 10/20/2022 @ 1620. bringatrailer.com/listing/1977-ford-f-350-2/
Wow nice truck, especially one that has a full tank of gas....or the gas gauge is broken. .anyways nice square
Full tank of 89 octane.
Was those dump bed boards polyurthaned or stained ? Or both ? Nice looking boards on the dump
Thanks! Usually just stained with left over material from other projects or sometimes used motor oil. I'll do the trailer decking with it too and it gives everything a clean look.
do you think a step up from a 1025 to this tractor would be worth it? it looks like it has pretty good capability.
It is a much larger frame and tire machine with more lift height than the 1025R. No mid PTO for belly mowers or front mount snowblowers with 3025E. Also fixed loader on the 3E Series.
@@frozesolid3773 any difference in power? thanks for the reply
@@anthonymorrison2167 The 3025E has more displacement and a bigger bore and stroke, so it should have more torque even though they have the same horsepower.
@@frozesolid3773 thank you
@@anthonymorrison2167 Thanks for watching
What size is that 3500?
33 horsepower with the long arm option.
truck sounds awesome I have a 85 C30
Square Bod's for the win!
Trucks like that are so useful on homesteads small farms and for contractors. Lots of useful things it can do for you.
Almost anyone who's manually unloaded material from a pickup truck would agree with you.

I'd ask 10k for it if I still had it.
What loader is on your tractor?
John Deere 300E loader.
Thanks for the response I’m thinking of getting a 3025D with the same loader, do you think it’s a adequate loader for the tractor? Have you had any problems lifting anything with it?
The loader matched the tractor well and has never given me any problems lifting anything within its rated capabilities. Rear ballast is the most important thing to consider for loader work.
Hope you still own it? Hard to find and a old school classic
No I sold it to purchase an F-450 dump truck that was no where near as cool, but did tow and haul more than the old K30. You are correct, they are hard to find these days, and demand quite the premium too!
Did that have a 350 in it? and what kind of mufflers were on it?
Yeah 350 with glass pack style mufflers.
Sweet! Was thinking I would need a large one but that little one did a great job!
Thanks it's a fairly capable little machine.
What type of valve setup are you using for the third function?
John Deere Rear Hydraulic Kit - BLV10461
Thank you sir!
You're welcome!
Where. Can. I. Find. A. 1981. Chevrolet. Dump. Truck.
Craigslist, Face Book Marketplace, TruckPaper, EBay, Bring A Trailer, are good places to start looking.
Did you fabricate that tailgate?
No bought it that way.
looked clean till i saw the holes/patches in the frame by the overload hanger on driver side. Still an awesome truck. Ive watched this vid a few times. Honestly I dont think theres many K30 dump trucks that don't have that issue.. theyve all been used so hard. Most the ones I see listed have been redone atleast 1-3 times
When I bought the truck it was in pretty rough shape frame wise. Road salt and other junk sits on top of the mounts where they meet the frame and rot it out. The dump box was removed. The spring perches and hangers were all replaced by a frame shop using GM manuals for reference, along with whatever else was bad. New mounts were made for the bed and it was bolted on properly, as it was welded on when I bought it. Thanks for watching!
A little higher rpm would make the tractor happier. But I like the grapple.
Appreciate the tip. Thanks for watching.
That tractor looks very capable.is that a heavy hard wood?I'm looking at same tractor for woods work.Do you have weight in the back?
It is Maple wood from a tree that was just cut down. The rear tires are loaded with Rim Guard, and the box blade adds a little more ballast.
Is it sold?
Yes the truck has been sold.
