I'm looking at a truck that's a 2019 Mack with 300,000 actual miles driven in 20,000 engine hours on it I'm thinking regardless you're going to get high miles with a 2019 but it's better to have 300K driven miles and 20,000 engine hours then 800 k actual miles driven

Do you use the total engine hours or Idle hours for this calculation? Thanks!

I have a hose that is dripping and is under the big black filter n behind that square metal box... when u move it it leaks... so move ur hoses around a bit... only a bulit i did the mistake to move it a lot n drip got worse

Happened to my 2013 just yesterday the bracket actually went forward and broke the plastic clips on the grill, I took off the bracket sanded the glue surface cleaned both sides I did put 4 nut rivet inserts bc there's 4 holes in the bracket and hood that for some stupid reason they don't use and just glue the shit together anyway put the rivets 4 bolts plus 3m 5200 glue , on both sides shit will never come apart again , such a dumb ass design freightliner engineers were smoking some good shit when they came up with that bs. SMH

I got same problem. Sometimes it stops leaking by it self. My mechanic told me not to use water in coolant and when I changed my radiator and only used coolant it stopped leaking. Last month had work done replacing egr actuator and they refilled coolant they mixed it with water now it leaking again. So refill with coolant only hoping it will stop leaking.

There’s a nice 600hp Cummins w900 2009 kenworth for sale with only 68k miles but 18,000 hours. Would this be a safe buy or is that too much? The truck looks flawless even the interior looks new still.

thats exactlty what my dd15 detroit engine is doing. the leak is behind the rear section of the egr cooler after the last strap so I want to thank you very much cause at first it was the egr cooler but i did not find coolant inside the manifold pipes. Thank you very much

Check the edge of the door when you open it you will see little black tabs pop those out with a flathead they hid screws in there then pull the rubber they may have screws under the bottom down there too check up around the window switch I think they had a screw up there too. Once they are all out lift up on the panel should come off
