Taken from the album "Lifecycle" features Andy Tillison (Now with Po90 & The Tangent) - making challenging Prog Rock back in the late 1980s
Hey Sal, This popped up recently! I have most/ all PO 90 albums on CD. This is very cool!
Bloody incredible Andy.
I have been pondering wether to upload this album on TH-cam as you can't get it on CD but, I can't without permission sorry. If anyone knows if Andy made this available on CD in the last 10 years please let me know so I can buy it!
Highly recommended folks. Bag one quick. Got mine.
Colossal, fantastic, incredible
Hail glorious days of real music! Prog is not dead. it;s alive and kicking!
yes, the are really great!! heavily underrated in our unfortunately mainstream-oriented music-business :(
What a surprise to find GF&DD on TH-cam! I had the albums on a tape along with some singles/extra tracks. I recorded them onto my computer and put them in my iTunes :)
good stuff going in the right direction synths are two Virus ? with an M-Audio controller ?
Very nice Song and i love this music also....
ppl stop listening to black metal nad listen to real music like this .... mix of prog&jazz karmakanic and the tangent my best bands
Is there anywhere I can download this album? I'd love to hear it again but it's a long way back to where my vinyl is??? :-(
Brilliant, this is such a blast from the past. I own this album on vinyl, although it is in the UK and I'm in NZ so I don't get chance to listen to it. I used to hand around at the 1 in 12 Club in Bradford as a youngster and I think I got this album from the record shop there. Good times!! I love this!!! Would love to hear some more stuff. Recently found a great NZ prog band called Looked to Windward, well worth checking them out.
I thought the line was "It hits him like glue." Or was that just a Mondegreen which has haunted me for twenty years? ;-)
I love this band. Introduced to them by a pal (who didn't like them!) but who was distributing for Peaceville back in the day. I've turned many people onto them over the years. Andy actually paid me a visit out of the blue one day. It was so great to find that he was still writing and playing, and to catch up on Facebook. I've shared this on Facebook for my friends who have yet to experience the wonders of GFDD. More, please!
Please... can somebody run again the studio version of Canterbury Sequence 1?
Are you sure the keys are loud enough?!
I like the continental feel, plus modern influences. Well done.
Hi and thanks for your nice comment! I will ask Andy about "Where Do We Draw The Line" for you. The reason for posting this video is really to introduce people to the fact that Andy's band, now known as "The Tangent", has actually been active in one form or another since the 1980's, Andy's music has only become widely recognised in the last 10 years or so but some of the songs which are now loved by fans all around the world have roots which reach way back into his past.
Thanks a million for this upload..., how many people know of this terrific band?...Do you have GFDD, "where do we draw the line"... I have a recording on cassette, but as for CD or download, no chance!....
the best sound ever ! greetings from chile ;)
nice
I need this!!!!, totally amazing.

Did I just get struck by a thunderbolt . This is on another level, Progtastic beyond Progtasticness.
