I just found your channel and have been binge watching. ❤. You make so many good and valid points. My husband is going through PD education now and I’m training as well to be his care partner and I was shocked and mortified when the PD Nurse told me that the gauze doesn’t come in individual sterile packages but that they come in a bulk pack!!!😔. This makes no sense. Am I missing something!!! Who makes these decisions? It’s crazy and what’s more concerning is that she reluctantly told me that it’s a contractual decision made by DaVita (I’m guessing to save money????) and our expense!!! But thank you for sharing. I hope your channel grow and that more people get to see your videos because you have excellent content.

I don't know where you go out to breakfast with your friend, but it would be worth it to see if they can substitute fresh fruit for the hash browns as the "side." (some places even have other sides like cottage cheese, etc.) Even if you don't eat it with that meal, like you said, you were already paying for a side, so you can bring the fruit home and have it for a snack, with lunch, or what-have-you. lol
