Omg is that victorian flower language at 1:14? Pink tulips usually symbolize admiration, affection and caring. Not sure what the other flower is, maybe a lilac? Those often symbolize first love or just love overall and Aziraphale's red roses would symbolize true love. Beautiful video btw!!

This animatic simultaneously reminds me of something hilarious, recalls a very bitter memory for me, and holds a very dear place in my heart... It has taken up brain space and lived there rent-free ever since I found it - It reminds me of an official oral report to my school that I did on Pray for us, Icarus which I only read because I found this - It reminds me of friends I've since lost for various reasons - It Reminds me. The fact that the song itself is about reminding someone of someone else- This edit... The memory of it, and Finding it again... It's so Nostalgic in the most bittersweet way possible. I will likely watch this every time I need a good humbling dose of sad from now on.

I think i already commented under this video but i just have to say, i love coming back every time it gets recommended. Both, pray for us icarus and scarborough fair are very special to me. I translated the fic into german, as it was my favourite and i think the only long one i ever read to the end. And the song brought back my motivation to play the harp, which i do almost daily now. And the styleee and the colours and crowleys hair and their emotions, it all looks soooo good. Especially the frame where azi reveals his angel form omg. This whole animation must have taken forever to finish but it was ab so lutely worth it!

Umm...dude, what the heck? That was one of the best animatics I've ever seen. The effort in the coloring, the art style...it was absolutely superb. The mask drawings were some of my favorite frames, especially the parallel between how Aziraphale's agreeability masks his doubts about Heaven, whereas Crowley's cool exterior hides his vulnerability. And THE PANEL WITH CROWLEY AND THE APPLE? Hold up, that was cool as hell. Like, it really made you remember who Crowley is: sure, he's the work-smarter-not-harder, cool, secretly nice demon we all know and love, but don't you EVER forget who he is. He is the Serpent of Eden. And the parallels with Aziraphale and the sword kinda show how both of them were given a task and did something not-completely-by-the-book that changed the direction of humanity's fate. Holy cow. And your little bits of humor (PEACE OUT!!) were great and unexpected bits of levity. Not to mention your singing...I would die to hear the whole song. I kinda like it better than the original (which I listened to because of you); the soft vocals and ukulele give it a sort of mournful, introspective feel that really worked with the message you were trying to convey. Love it, thank you for this, glad I watched this instead of doing homework.
