Liberace 1986 Last performance Christmas Medley
He knew he was dying
I still feel sad that a man like Liberace he ended his days in that way, he was a child and man prodigy and a good human being. We miss him.❤❤❤❤❤
He was a child prodigy and an adult prodigy for music and the piano. A nice, friendly, kind, and kind man, a prodigy
A real man's man 💪
I think that in this video he was already extremely sick and depressed, he no longer felt like dressing glamorously as he always loved, his departure hurt me.
He was diagnosed with AIDS two years earlier and he died three months after this performance. Obviously he was to weak to wear the 100 lb costumes he wore in the introductions of his stage shows.
Liberace was a miracle of nature!
AIDS destroyed him. He knew - but the public did not.
Who here still loves him in 2024?
At the end!
Nüchtern betrachtet, ist sein Spiel nur auf Niveau eines Bordell Pianisten...
Yes he was in the last stages of AIDS and died three months after this show.
I didn't realize what a treasure he was until he was gone😢
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
This performance deserves respect at the Highest level. Pure Magical.
At around 1:56, the woman in the audience directly across from Liberace seems overcome.
A mesmerizing farewell performance. RIP
GOAT!
Oh boy! It's a year later...Time for Liberace Christmas!
Would like to hear more of Kendall Morse with Banjo in the back!! Can somebody help me??
This incredible talent was my family’s favorite. We sat around our TV and were mesmerized by his ability, his musical genius and his sense of humor.
❤❤❤ I miss Liberace!
I'm number 847.
A legend from our youth. Why were/are American audiences so stiff and inanimate compared to the rest of the world?
How beautiful❤
Fantástico. Um pianista fora da curva👍👏👏👏👏👏
What happened to the video of the whole interview? Did it get taken down?
This was not an interview but a film of his performance at Radio City Music Hall on November 2, 1986. He died in February 1987.
@@danielebrparish4271 No, this is the Oprah Winfrey Show. The whole segment from the show had been previously posted, but now I think it's gone. He was talking about how Donald Trump took him shopping and Oprah had audience members asking him questions and stuff. One woman asked him what his favorite desert was and he said apple pie. I think it was the very last public appearance he did right before he died. I think it was in December of '86.
Can anyone remaster this maddley😢
The way he hits certain dissonant notes, (clashing notes) on the high keys when he's playing Jingle Bells, tweaks the pitch in just the right way that it makes the piano sound more like bells. That's such a genius thing for a pianist to be able to figure out how to do. He's blending the notes to sound like something different, similar to the concept of blending paint colors to make another color, or that kid I've seen on TH-cam who figured out how to get an acoustic violin to make all kinds of animal and car sound effects. It reminds me of a project that some artist did in Europe, I forget which country, where they build a machine with robot arms, that plays the whole entire keyboard of an acoustic piano, in just the right way where they could blend the pitches of the notes and manage to make it sound like a kid talking. It says a message about climate change. You can actually blend the pitch of those 88 notes to make them sound like almost anything, if you do it just the right way. It's such a genius concept.
Good info...
Beautiful to hear but so sad to see a person being consumed by AIDS. Rest in peace Liberace😔
❤ It is now June 2, 2024- 6:36 AM. I absolutely LOVE, RESPECT and ADORE this incredible marvelously talented, amazing and priceless gentleman ever! • Forever Rest in Peaceful Paradise, Light and Love - Liberace.
I was a kid and teenager during the height of his career. He was an incredible talent. People today can not even imagine the venues this man sold out, even on multiple days. Everyone's mother and meemaw adored this guy.
