I have my first competition in Jan for drill so I’m just watching anything jrotc related atp. I’m so nervous 😭

I did JROTC for a semester in my sophomore year and finished up as a PFC and had 4 ribbons and a marksman badge and was only 5 points away from receiving the sharpshooter badge😅

I am here because i am joining the army after hs so jrotc sounds perfect but should i join jrotc because i am in 8th grade abt to enter hs so i need to make a decision quickly

For people who are shy and don't normally lead but want to get better at leadership to be promoted, what advice do you have for that, if any?

I couldn't do it in 9th grade for some reason but I'm in it now in 10th grade, today was my first day of it, and we didn't do much but it was very fun for me

Bruh all these people talking bout how they are picking JROTC on their forms. I did that too. It's nothing like I expected it to be but it can be fun sometimes. The only thingS I truly hate is doing PT in the cold and wearing the uniform shoes because my heels bleed every single time I wear them even tho I have insoles and heel protectors.
