Looked like rudder
5 out of 10 ....
Looks like the trailing edge of the flaps is going to need a touch-up😊
Nothing a little filler and paint won't take care of 🤣🤣
Ground effect there for a sec
You do know that close and hitting are two different things right???
I'm confused? He did scrape the flaps, intentionally.
Why?
Wheels work better on runways
😅
Nice
I think the flaps may have touched the ground
Yep definitely a little scrape! Skilled pilot to keep it in the air
@thomasbauer3991 yeah, they have been scraped a time or ten 😂
These same judgmental comments by self appointed RC gatekeepers were made about 3D maneuvers not that long ago…and now full scale pilots like Rob Holland are doing them in full scale planes. Progression and innovation need to start somewhere.
The judgemental pilots making these comments are the reason clubs are declining and failing.
do you have a video for takeoffs? Flying a Me262
Do you recommend using safe for takeoffs and landings?
Hello, Do you know what happened ? Phil
@JP-gl2lx pretty sure it was a failed rudder servo, it pinned at full deflection while setting up to land.
Ah ok, this T33 seems to fly very well but is very sensitive to the elevator. What did you think of his flight? Because I want to buy one...Thank you for telling me about your impressions.
@JP-gl2lx the jet has a great presence in the air and flew very well aside from the incident. the pilot never 100% determined the cause, but it could have also been a faulty gyro as the rudder did the same at slow speed during takeoff. He bought it used with a cheapo gyro in it. Plane probably doesn't even need a gyro, but would help in some windy conditions.
Ok thanks you very much
I will use a spektrum 8 channel receiver. Spektrum AR8360T+ DSMX AS3X/SAFE with telemetry
You are a plane got dammit don’t act like a helicopter
Perfect carrier landing👍😎
F4?
Tiny drogue chute maybe? XD!
Yeah, Phantoms needed a hook and a wire ! 😉👍
Just add flaps
This was the first landing the owner had after a crash, I'm not sure why he didn't use flaps but it is definitely capable of landing a lot slower.
1. Planes balloon on downwind because they’re going too fast when you lower the flaps. 2. You should use the transmitter’s flight modes and F-mode trim to control the flaps and the flap>elevator mix. 3. F-mode trim lets you adjust the elevator and aileron trim in the air for each position of the flaps using the standard trim levers. 4. I trim my planes so that they glide just above the stall speed with the throttle at idle in the takeoff and landing flap positions. If I add power, they will begin to climb. If they climb too steeply, I’ll add a throttle>elevator mix to keep the nose from getting too high. 5. On final, I use the elevator to control the angle of attack and use the throttle to control the descent rate. 6. The nose wheel must not touch first. If it does, you should go around. Otherwise, the plane will bounce repeatedly.
😢 been there done that 🤷
relatable tho
Honestly still very shocked about this one
I'm considering buying one. What are your thoughts on the retracts/ wheels? Pro's & con's of the whole plane?
@Clearly69 I've not had issue with the retracts, but I don't believe they would be up to a rough landing task. Mainly the tailwheel retract as it's plastic
Pros: airframe surprisingly strong, plenty of flights with 55cc dle and no issue. Assembly is rather straight forward. Good price Cons: teeth on cowl look odd, rounded instead of sharp Pilot figure is awful Included hardware is junk, ball links are super tight. Recommend replacing with dubro
@@BluegrassStateRC OK, I can accept those con's. I figured the hardware/ pilot would be junk as it is with most kits. As far as the sharks teeth I was planning on repainting the whole plane & hopefully find a quality tailwheel from a 3rd party. BTW, what makes an rc plane a giant scale is, if it's 1/4 scale or has an 80 in. span. If their measurements are correct it's a giant scale. Thanks for the unboxing & info, I'll definitely put an order in. 👍

Cool video thanx for sharing
Great looking EDF and fantastic flying thanks for sharing 😊😊😊
Awesomeness
Thanks for sharing your experience in a beautiful video. The Viper tends to stall the left wingtip on landing. I set the landing of the Viper 90 in downwind at half runway: reduction of speed, half flap, landing gear down, stabilize the plane, coordinated turn, and on final with the throttle stick at 40%, then before touching the throttle stick at about 30%, obviously the elevator must be pulled back progressively and never released. I saw online that they use what the Americans call "Crow" (full flap and both ailerons obviously on elevator as much as necessary) this should move the stall from the tip to the center of the wing and make the landing safer. Greetings from Italy.
Thank you!
The others fled from the scene instead of providing first aid to the pilot
Great job

Bravo 👏 👍🍻
Another example of how RC flying isn’t “scale”. The power to weight ratio is way out of balance with typical manned aircraft. This makes RC models much more maneuverable and capable of things most typical manned aircraft are not. It looks as if the 3rd aircraft may have been too far off the ground for the thrust to create a “hover” so it crashed because it didn’t have enough altitude to recover. When manned aircraft, those which can, do it at sufficient altitude to recover.
Looks like a "Mini-Miramar" around here!
I have this plane in my possession and I'm telling you that it has a really hard time doing what you see in this clip, so my question is what did you do to the plane that holds hover like that and gets out from hover so easily? Really intrigued...
The pilot told me it required the removal of the landing gear to shave weight to make this possible
@@BluegrassStateRC I knew that was what you would answer me, I think I will try it myself Thank you very much for your quick replies. Not obvious!!
Good Lawd! That was beautiful!
@@HotRod29591 it really is an amazing model
What engine is on the Falcon 2.1, and falcon 2.8 please?
If i'm not mistaken and my memory serves me right, the 2.1 had a 180n-200n (necessary for vectored flight) and the 2.8 had a 300n jetcat I know for sure. But, for normal sport flying a 120n pushes it extremely well!
Thanks
