Does the record and focus work with that cable on the r7?

Add a bounce or something on the camera side. Itll give you an eyelight and fill in the shadows a bit more. A small mc11 light would work too. The strong overhead is looking menacing and ur eyes look completely gone. Makes it hard to pay attention to you. Alt u could also try one more layer of diffusion like a screen in front of ur top light right above ur head out of frame and thatll help it wrap downwards along your face more.

Do you experience any overheating issues with the r7 vs the r8? I’ve been really leaning toward the r8 but what pushes me away is the overheating issue.

What is 6k used for? All my client work is 4k at the most. Do you just like it b/c you can reframe in post on a 4k timeline? If you shoot movies, is this useful? Any answers as to why people want 6k would be great thanks.

Large format is marketing bs. On their website, they specify further that it is a full frame sensor. Large format implies a digital sensor many times the size of a 35mm sensor (commonly 4"x5", 5"x7", 8"x10", etc).

good long term review mate. Just recently got to canon and got an R6 and R6ii as both main cameras with 35 and 85 attached for shooting events. Was thinking of getting an r8 for my day to day, travel and as a backup incase one of my 2 cameras crap itself in an event. Canon really did well here by creating a cheaper and lightweight r6ii without the 'pro' features but performs just as well.

Do you have a problme with the autofucos ? Becouse i have cannon rp and sigma 150 - 600 c and thr autofucos in not good at all

It seems using program mode with EF lenses is a no-go on this cam. In anything less than bright peak daylight, images are soft. Even with a 70-200 f/4L. I have had better luck moving to the priority modes or Fv.

I want to get HS8s, but my current setup consists of Edifier 1700BTs and a Topping D10 with RCA connections. Can I use a cable like AUX to TRS from my 1700BTs to the HS8s

The 300mm lens (600mm) of m4/3 mount are so smaler than that.

😂 pictures is blurry because you're using a 600 mm lens I would say invest in a tripod , I have a 200 mm lens even then

oh god, you don't understand optics. 600mm is not a long lens bro. Yet you have glass that looks like that?! Your Sensor is WAY TO BIG. shrik it down it becomes longer for the trouble that glass is giving you

When recording with multiple inputs simultaneously, can you monitor audio tracks separately? Like input 1 in my left ear and input 2 in my right ear? Can’t find any info on that anywhere. Nice video btw.

definitely an amazing lens to start with given the price. another one that works well for the EF mount is the sigma 18-250mm f/3.5-6.3, it’s got crazy amounts of versatility for how little you can find one for (usually about $200)

What’s the difference between CLOG3 and CLOG? I have the R8 but I’m debating selling for R6MKII for IBIS & 1/8000 with strobe light, and just more features available

Hello, could you better explain to me the deficiencies of the first curtain shutter of the R8 with respect to photographs, because you highly recommend using the mechanical shutter on this one. If you have any examples, I would really appreciate it if you could make a purchase decision. Greetings!

I have the R8 and it’s incredible. The video capabilities of the R8 are insane and with the much larger sensor you can get away with the 24-105 f4L even in low light for most situations. Plus because it’s full frame you get the full focal length. It also has a crop function for both photography and video to punch in like an APSC camera

I choose r8 because r7 has too many childhood issues😢😂
