A Glimpse of Everyday: 165 Days on the Pacific Crest Trail
Hello!
I hiked the Pacific Crest Trail in 2024. During my hike I decided to take a video journal everyday. (while almost everyday) I made this video of quick 1-2 second clips to showcase the many different feelings and changes that happened during a 5.5 month hike in the wilderness. I hope you enjoy. Let me know your favourite clip !
Thanks so much for watching!

Hanok Inspired Wall Decor [VLOG]

[VLOG] Hello! Welcome to another video - thanks for stopping by !! Decided to make some wall decor using pine. It is inspired by Korean Hanok windows and doors. That plus there was wood dust and particles that got stuck in my br...

I was poking around your channel after watching your PCT vid. I don't have UC, but I have struggled with a bunch of autoimmune issues for so many years. Things got better for me (mostly), but it took a long time. I am still not sure what to think or say about it all. Looking back, I think how I felt about myself and how I saw the world contributed to me getting the disease, but I guess all retrospection is largely an exercise in confirmation bias. It is a hard road, and so few people understand how confusing and humiliating a disease like this can be. If I could go back and give myself one piece of advice, it would be to not be so hard on myself. Being sick didn't make my life better, but I think it gave me the opportunity to be better. Seeing the limits as an opportunity rather than being robbed of all opportunities really helped me be kinder to myself and to what life had given to me. I almost think that was what the disease was trying to teach me, but who knows. I am hoping to do a PCT Thru in 2025, and I so appreciate your wisdom, and your gentle way of conveying it.
Hey - thank you so much for taking the time to share your story and thoughts. I think you are absolutely correct about not being so hard on yourself. Being sick definitely makes new limits apparent and has made me really aware of my overall health. Sometimes that makes me a bit disappointed. It will be a new way of thinking going forward - hopeful that things will get easier as time goes on. I really hope you go for the PCT in 25! It is an amazing trail that will be sure to test you but it is so rewarding. All the best!
Great vid, really cool to see the adventure. I hope to complete the PCT before or by 25, cannot wait
Thank you ! All the best on your PCT adventure - have fun and be safe.
Nice video
Thank you so much!
@MylesVivid 👍🙂
Myles.. so glad your making video's of your journey. I often wonder what happen to the people we met on the trail, if they made it to candida or not...Jamie hurt her back about 300 miles in so we had to get off trail.. please continue posting the video's, we really enjoy watching them of someone we know.. good luck and ill be on the look out for more..
Hey Steve, I originally didn't think I was going to make more videos about the PCT but I do have a lot of footage so maybe more to come! Hope you and Jamie are doing well. Thank you for watching - glad you enjoyed!
