Join us on our adventure in building our own camp on Lake Winnipesaukee. We started with raw land in 2015 and are building two cabins and a shed on the property along with a permanent dock and a seasonal dock. We bought in 2015, built the Bunkhouse frame and finished the exterior in 2016 and finished the inside of the Bunkhouse in 2017. We will begin work on the shed and main cabin in 2017, with a hopeful completion by the end of 2019.

I think I am going to try a feather and wedge set for my Boulder. It's about 6x6 and granite. About the same price but they are reusable
Either way, you are going to have trouble drilling the granite. Stuff is hard. Even when lubricated with water, $50+ bits lasted me less than 6 holes.
How did that work out? I've been trying to break a rock with feathers and wedges, but I think mine are too small for my rock. I can only get small pieces off of it, but it takes forever. Trying the dexpan next with a 1 inch bit

LoL if you can make a Hole,it easy to break it. So why you use that bexan?
It’s not as easy as you’d think. Dexpan saves a lot of labor
I'm enjoying the irony of the extra expense of utilizing a frost-free spigot under an uninsulated deck!
Ok ..... it's next spring, now! Lets see that well earned septic system!

Why not use Feather Shims.
Neat stuff but wedges are reusable
I think feather and wedge is maybe better for me. The drilled holes are smaller.
I strongly believe in Wedges and feathers. Works great on hard rocks like granite, basalt etc. (5/8" wedges). I have encountered rocks where they appear to be hard and the rock can expand internally and not crack.

12'x12' with a 10' wall in front and a 7' wall in the back
Just be careful not to let the kid play with saws , wouldn't want to see the lil guy get hurt.
What was the recipe you used I always done whole container and waste alot
I used a third of the container with 1/3 the water. I estimated and it worked out!
