If you using my settings (ss minimum 1/100, iso maximum 3200) then yes, there will be some jitter. You’ll have to try raising the minimum shutter speed slightly, just enough to eliminate them.

@cj.travels what do you think is the minimum shutter for evening shot / indoor shot? I usually do shutter 120 But is it enough? Cuz im planning to but action 5 pro but without gimbal What do you think? Mostly do architecture shot and indoor

You'll have to go higher I think, say 1/240. Possibly even higher, but it depends on what type of shots/camera movement you'll have. But I haven't done much handheld low light myself, so I can’t say for sure.

It’s tricky because the Action 5 is so light that many gimbals don’t support such a lightweight camera. That’s probably the most important factor to consider. Possibly you could always add some kind of weight if needed. I use the Zhiyun Crane M2S-it’s okay, but not as smooth as I’d hoped. That said, Gyroflow does an excellent job of smoothing things out.

Yep I used gimbal, then Gyroflow stabilization on top of that for even more smoothness.

@cj.travels how about handheld with no gimbal with gyroflow? Would it turnout not jittery?

Yes, if it’s handheld, you’ll need to increase the minimum shutter speed to avoid jitters. Raise it just enough to minimize them, but not too high as it will increase ISO noise. You'll have to find a balance.

I’m not entirely sure I understand your question, but I assume you’re asking about settings. For cinematic indoor shots and maximum image quality I would suggest: - Frame rate: 24fps, as it’s more “cinematic” and helps minimize noise - Shutter speed: Ideally a 180-degree shutter (1/48). That is obviously too low for handheld, so try 1/240. If you can get away with lower, then even better. - ISO: maximum 3200 - White balance: 3800K - Stabilization: Off if using Gyroflow, but RockSteady should be fine also. Gyroflow will give more control in post. - Field of view: Set to Wide if using Gyroflow, or Standard Dewarp if using Rocksteady. (Correcting lens distortion would be important for architecture!) - Color profile: D-Log M - Image settings: Texture -2, Noise Reduction -2 That said, it might be worth looking into the Pocket 3. Probably better suited for your type of shots. Built-in gimbal and better in low light, as it has a larger sensor.

Rocksteady should work fine-try raising the minimum shutter speed slightly, just enough to eliminate jitters from fast movement.

It depends! Increasing the minimum shutter speed will darken the image, so you might need to raise the maximum ISO to compensate. For example, I used SS 1/100-1/8000 with ISO 100-3200. But if you’re using something like SS 1/200-1/8000, you might need ISO 100-6400 if it’s too dark. The downside is more noise, but you could reduce that by lowering the FPS, as you mentioned. When I used the Action 4, I always shot at 24fps at night because it was the cleanest. With the Action 5, I’ve been using 60fps at night, and it looks decent enough-much cleaner than the 4. I haven’t tested 24fps at night on the 5 yet, so I’m not sure how much better it might look. Ultimately, it depends on how dark your night rides are. You’ll need to experiment to find the right balance!

Crazy, I know… but I always felt the Pocket's gimbal was a bit limited, so I went with a dedicated gimbal.
