I did this trek at night in 1998 and it rained that night! We weren't ready though.. :) It was mesmerizing!

I did this trek in 2018 when I was 19 years. Hardly few videos were there on TH-cam. We completed the trek bcoz of assistance available for food near Bhattara mane. I would say no second place in Karnataka would give you such a exhilarating experience and view. The total number was around 30-40. Now I see people getting queued up. Gods grace a good decision was taken to stop the trekking. I pray not to reopen. Forest Department had recently recovered tonnes of waste , subramanya forest is a ecosensitive zone, good to restrict everyone.
