Thank you so much! Congrats on getting in! It's very convenient because it is close to school and feels like more of an apartment. However, some rooms are better than others so it depends!
Got one in 2022 for Christmas and it didn't come with those button jewels sadly. People have been talking about how they keep falling off so maybe that's why they no longer include them?

How’s the dorm life with everyone? Are there a lot of people that hang out outside of their dorms or is the campus pretty solitary and people keep to themselves?
In the beginning, everyone is outside of their rooms to meet people. As the year goes on, people start to do their own thing but a lot of people still hang out in the common/study rooms. This goes for the new dorms, not sure about the old ones.

How long does the film last after putting it in the camera? Because I got one for Christmas, but I’m planning on using the film during the first week of school which is a couple of weeks away, so I’m not sure if I could test it out now or to just wait. I love your video btw 💖

What is the space like under the bed? Been looking online and nothing is showing how much height is under the bed. I wanna get some added drawers for more storage but don't want to buy something that won't fit.
Take a look at my dorm tour video. you can see how much space is under it and how it looks compared to my height and everything. You can fit quite a lot under it.
Once you put the case on, you cannot see the film count any more on the back of the camera.

How is Cal Poly Pomona, I’m going to be there soon and want to know what to expect? And how’s Pomona searching on TH-cam there’s not a lot of good being showed about the City
Hi! One thing that sticks out is that it is a commuter school so it's not as active as traditional college. Pomona itself is not a good area but the school is fine. I will always say your experience at the school is what you make of it and so far I've had a good time:)

There are a couple restaurants on campus not too many. The cafeteria (Centerpoint) isn’t terrible but you might not like it if you have a really weak stomach. You’ll get tired of it if you go every day. Foothill transit is accessible from the school but I would recommend to just make friends and grocery shop together:) a lot easier

Hi Clarissa, how safe is the neighborhood around cal poly? I heard Pomona is not very safe. Can you tell me about your experience? My daughter committed for fall 2022.
As someone who lives in the general area, its in a good area of Pomona, right on the border of the city in fact.

All drivers need extra insurance for their car. The app insurance is not enough. Your personal insurance will never cover you when your car is listed as personal use.
hii, im most likely going to commit for the fall here but my moms rlly worried and thinks that there’s like zero social life. ik it’s not like the most party like school but i was wondering how true that was. also im gonna be dorming and she’s worried that not many ppl live on campus (this is a lot im very sorry lmfaoo)
I’d love to give a longer explanation but here’s the gist. It’s honestly what you make of it. You will definitely meet people and make friends especially if you’re dorming (as long as you don’t lock yourself in your room 24/7). You just need to make an effort to join clubs, study with friends, and get involved as goes for any school. I will say that it is a smaller campus in comparison to ones like UCLA but it doesn’t mean you won’t have a social life. It is a commuter school so a lot of people go home on the weekends but in the end it’s all up to you.

I know this is probably the weirdest thing you’ll ever get asked, but if I end up going to this school (got accepted! Just waiting to hear from a couple other schools) I want to bring all of my plants but they have specific light needs and I NEED to know 😭😭😭

It’s a little bit of a dry school but of course there are a few.

Unfortunately no, you’ll have to take two shots. If you buy a Polaroid printer, you can print photos straight off your phone however many times!

Not related to the video topic but I was wondering what freshman orientation looked like and if it was really all day or if there was a lot of walking. Just like what to expect that day. I don’t know if you had one in person or not, but I still was wondering. I might be attending for the fall but I’m nervous about it.
I unfortunately wasn’t able to do freshman orientation due to covid but I don’t think it’d be too tiring. The campus isn’t too big and from what I’ve seen, they plan activities with you so you’ll be able to meet people and just have a fun time!
