@karlkase What exactly are you apologizing for? I never claimed to be as good as him or surely I wouldn't be performing alone in my basement. I have however had 3 more years of vocal training since the time this quick tribute was recorded and agree it could be much better if rehearsed enough. No one forced you to suffer through this fake version but pro tip - when people add "Cover" to the end of a video title, there's a chance it just might be a cover 🤷‍♂️

@alexreynolds1826 thanks..The amp volume is usually just raised to the point where I can still hear myself singing without use of a monitor/headphones, and a compression plugin was applied which tamed the peaks whenever I strum hard. I'm sure I could mix a better version now after a few more years of experience but oh well

@@adamcorvinelli I have no doubt Dylan would be impressed with Jeff’s version. I was just surprised when I read the comments how many people seemed to believe it was Jeff’s song. Also I have been really surprised how many of the current generation have no idea about Dylan - hard to believe when he has had such a massive influence on modern music.

You are no less of a ARTIST if you can take someone else's song and make it your own, and make people think it was yours all along.
