Good morning pastor Dave. When u were talking about God being jealous, I think in addition 2 what u said that he is actually jealous. When u love some1 & they cheat on u, it hurts. Though it’s spiritual adultery, it’s comparable 2 adultery. Having had personal experience with this, it not only hurts the person that did it and their spouse, but it also hurts those around us including r families. It’s bad 4 not just the person doing it but it takes others down as well. Plus it really does hurt the person betrayed like nothing else can. It still hurts me though I have forgiven. I would never want 2 hurt God like this. Therefore, I think it hurts, in this case, the entire Jewish nation & 4 the Body of Christ, the entire body. I think the tentacles on this sin r far reaching & much more damaging than we realize. I also think that having other gods b4 Him is such an evil sin & 1 we should avoid @ all costs because the consequences 2 all r so devastating. Sadly, having no other gods b4 Me is a sin that we don’t discuss much though like u said it often does not appear as worshipping a golden calf. Since we r made in His image, I tend 2 think that His feelings & ours r somewhat similar though He is holy. I did a quick word search in Logos & I think what I added is correct. I did realize how great God is when I look how screwed up the world is. The demons keep trying to keep my eyes on the things of this world. They keep telling me God is evil which isn't true. I keep falling for it. The only being I need Is Jehovah.
