I'm just doing some routine maintenance on my daughter's...Danica and Victoria...2005 Camry XLE. I made this video to show them how I changed the cabin air filter. They are wonderful kids.

I replaced the engine air filter on my 2007 Hyundai Sonata. It's got a little over 142K miles. Runs like a top. We bought the car used in April 2018 with 95K miles. I've changed the oil about every 3K miles. I'm really happy with this car.

My wife usually drives this car. I took it for an oil change and while I was at the shop, one of the mechanics was replacing a cabin air filter on another car. This got me to thinking...I couldn't remember when I last changed this filter. So, I ordered a new one and wow, it needed to be changed.

I checked the oil and it was down about 1/3 to 1/2 quart. This short video shows adding and then checking the oil level. I rarely have to add oil to the Sonata.

My headlights were getting a bit foggy. I used Turtle Wax HEADLIGHT 2 in 1 Cleaner & Sealant. I like the product. It does nicely for removing the light fog on the headlights. I've used this for many years and works well for me.

I went to the local garden center- The Garden Plot - to look for some pepper and tomato plants. I was particularly looking for Red Habaneros, which I couldn't find at Home Depot, Lowe's or Walmart. For step 3, did you have to attach any attachment to the tube before you attached to the tire. It was not snug

Are you worried it might scratch the paint?
That is a very good question. I hadn't even thought of it. I have not noticed any problems with the paint and I've been using these for several years. I checked the car today and I do not see any marks in the paint. My cars are older...the Lincoln is 2001, and I also use these on my 2003 Dodge Grand Caravan. Once the magnet goes on, it doesn't move...it is really stuck in one spot. When I pull them off, I lift them straight up. Hope this is helpful. Thanks for the good question. That pipe was shot anyway. Looks like the outer wall cracked open. Time to replace it.

I like the way you explain in a simple language while replacing the gas cap... A real time show !!! I have 2005 camry , I will follow your simple steps to replace the gas cap. By the way, the reason I am replacing it is, the Engine Light came 'ON' and decode showed that gas cap needs to be replaced. This is just to let viewers know more about it, if applicable . You're welcome. Thanks for the good comments. A couple months ago, the check engine light came on in my daughter's 2003 Honda Civic. I read the code and it was some evap system leak with the probable cause being the gas cap. I got her a new cap at the Honda dealer and that solved the problem. The existing cap must have been the original. The seal on it was old and brittle. Wishing you a Merry Christmas and Blessed New Year.
I have the same issue on my Troy Bilt. The design needs an overhaul.

PVC tube not really needed on my 2009 Sonata. Bolt is long enough and sits in a deep nylon threaded hole so that if you undo the bolt just enough to remove the outer piece, it will stay in the threaded hole with little risk of coming out. I found the tube just made it hard to get the socket on the bolt. Otherwise, thanks for the help. Turned out to be as simple as you showed.

Thank you for the this tutorial! I was able to replace my door handle and it was very easy, but unfortunately the 8mm screw fell out when I removed the cardboard tube that I used. I was having troubles screwing it back in so when I thought it was good, it also came out when I pulled out the tube. Sure wish I had that PVC tube. Anyways, any suggestions on where I can get that exact 8mm screw?
I'm glad that the video was helpful. I also lost one of the screws the first time I tried this, before using the PVC tube. I went to our local You-Pull-It salvage yard and got a screw off of a Sonata they had in the yard. I've also looked up part numbers on hyundaipartsdeal.com from time to time. If you enter the car information and go to trim then front door locking, they have a picture of the door parts with the screw. I would think you could take the picture to a Hyundai/Kia dealer and they could get you the screw. Hope this helps and you have a blessed day. I removed my passenger side motor from my 2007 santa fe and ran it on the driver side plug to test if the motor was OK... It was... I put it back on the passenger side door and now works but the switch is backward where pressing up lowers the window and down raises it both at the passenger door switch and the master switch on the driver door switch... Any thoughts or ideas? Have you seen this happen? I do not get it...

Great video I have the same issue, replaced temperature sensor, but fans don't come on only when ac on. Any idea
Thanks for appreciating the video. I'm not a mechanic so I can't give much more help. But, I was looking on TH-cam and there are a bunch of guys with videos troubleshooting the Civic fan issues. Did you use a genuine Honda sensor? If not, maybe the sensor isn't working, even if it is new out of the box. I had this same issue about two years ago. The mechanic put in an aftermarket sensor. It just lasted two years. Before I had time to replace this sensor, I asked my daughter to just turn on the AC if the car started overheating. Because, same as yours, the fans came on with the AC. Not the best solution, but for a temporary fix, it kept the temperature normal. Good luck. Please let me know if you find a solution. Hope you have a blessed day.

Nice video. Should be changed every 10, 000 miles.
I had a similar issue in my 09 with the lock switches. I just blasted the crack around the switches with QD electronics cleaner and screwed around with the switches until they started working better again.
Just went through this tunnel when it was raining the other day and had a major panic attack once inside with the 18 wheelers driving so close to me. I was sleep deprived and it took a terrible effect on my ability to react. I felt like i was losing all control of my extremities. Worse feeling ever.
