2022 Cancer Awareness Group Build Update
Chevelles here there and everywhere 😊. Great comparison video. Hope all is well. 👍
Great Video, I would definitely use the Revell interor for one of those other AMTs Thanks for sharing, I just subbed to your channel
Thanks so much, great idea!! Subbed you also!!!
Looks great, the addition of the dragon is just what it needed, Congrats
Thanks so much!!!
I really like how this turned out, Cap! I totally forgot about that dragon power thing. lol. Been about 40 or so years since I watched Wacky Racers. Kinda hope they release more of these but I think they've done all the vintage ones.
Yes, want professor pat pending and the Arkansas chugabug LOL
The movie dazed and confused black 70 Chevelle
Nice video.
Thank you!!!
Nice comparison video Oron. I picked up the John Wick Chevelle this past weekend and am looking forward to it. Liked and subbed.
Thanks friend, subbed you back!!
@@thecaptain2521 Appreciate it!
It looks great Oron. I used to watch the show and had forgotten about the dragon power. Thanks for bring it back to the front of my mind. I think he's perfect to the scale. Very cool!
Thanks bud!!!
The revell streetburner is the most accurate.
Ok cool, I'll have to look that one up. THANKS!!!
Great video. Just subbed to your channel
Thanks so much David!! I'm already subbed to you my friend.
Matthew McConachy Black SS Chevelle in the movie dazing confused is the same exact car as the 70 AMT because it has the license plates from the movie Deez Nuts so if you wanted to make another movie car, there’s your other Chevelle
Awesome, thank you!! For some reason I had it in my head that Melba Toast was a '68 or '69. Don't know how I messed that up. I'll definitely do one of these for that movie!!!
I'm on the website looking for the glue an cleaner but there multiple of the cleaners in that brand which one do you have?
UNIVERSAL weathering carrier. Multipurpose weathering auxiliary. There are 3 colored squares in the bottom right the purple square says Emml 2.0, blue square says Emml & yellow square says Alkyd. That's all the info on the front of the bottle. Hope it helps!!
The full build monogram 70 chevelle 1/24 th scale is way better than the AMT. But they are both good kits.
Very nice kits, Oron. With all these kits you don't have any worries about the winter days. The John Wick version will be surely very cool. Wish you a good time with all these goodies. Greetings, Joachim
Thanks my friend, love the green on the John Wick version!!
Great Video!!! I wish Revell would reissue the Chevelle and the 77 Monte Carlo. Thanks for sharing
@@michaelhintzmikesminiature1812 Thanks Mike!!
Nice multiples of the 70 Chevelle Oron. That John Wick box art is nice to have.😊
Yes also love the green on John Wick!! I sure didn't plan on all these, just happened LOL
Those snap kits are nice for a quick build and fun to paint, usually with really nice details. Good comparision of the kits.
Thanks Steve, I agree and in my world they go up on a shelf and very rarely get moved and no one ever looks at the engine so I'm very cool with curbsides.
Gotta build Wooderson's "Melba Toast" from the movie Dazed & Confused....."Let me tell you what Melba Toast is packing here, all right. We got 4:11 Positrac outback, 750 double pumper, Edelbrock intake, bored over 30, 11 to 1 pop-up pistons, turbo jet 390 horsepower. We're talkin' some fu*kin' muscle."......great movie
Agreed great movie and thanks so much!!! For some reason I had in my head Melba Toast was a '69. But you are absolutely correct, thanks for straightening me out. I would have got rid of those and then been really upset!!!
Great comparison Oron, 😎👍
Thanks Tom!!
Revell definitely has better details. I wondered what the differences were between the Reacher car and the Wick car.
Just the wheels! But agreed love the details on the Revell, especially the interior!!
Great comparison.
Thanks so much Larry!!!
That looks AWESOME!!! Love the dragon, really adds that touch of cartoon realism...Thanks so much for participating and hoping you will jump in again next year. Your 2024 token will be coming soon!
Thanks my friend, got my token today. Appreciate it!!!
Nice build Captain!!! I like the dragon. I have faint memories of the show. Thanks for sharing
Appreciate it Mike!!!
You can put a drop of uv resin for the other side, being a cartoon does not have to be in scale
Ok, thanks Ron !!!
DUDE! That rocks. I love the addition of the dragon. Hat tip to you.
Thanks so much Dirk!!!
Cool Capt, man I'm gonna have to get some of those Wacky racers now, well been meaning to just haven't done it yet, I will, eventually. Anyways, cool deal bud 👍👍
Thanks Doug, yes they're pretty cool little kits!!
That is so cool! Love the dragon. Who says that he is out of scale. There isn't a standard size for dragons! I think you should paint the figures. They need to be in the cars. No racing without drivers That turn take has a small gear the engages, shut up Picard, the motor and the table top.
Yes, agreed and definitely will have to do Penelope Pitstop!!
I definitely liked the dragon you did a great job there sir very cool
Thanks my friend!!!
Nice job. I like to idea of the DIY dragon.
Thank you so much!!
Hi Oron. A cool model and surely a great kit which has brought you much fun. The result shows this. Very nice job! Best wishes, Joachim
Thanks so much my friend!!!
Turned out awesome Oron, I used to love that cartoon
Thanks Tom!!!
Love the integration of all the parts. Great detail painting of the siding on the house.😊
Thanks you David!!!
Nicely done Captain, I like that you added the dragon. Makes for a nice collection.
Thanks Steve!!!
Hi Oron! I am so behind too. Not only on my Deformed Cartoon build but also on Video watching. Work has been a killer this week. I just finished up (I hope) an 8 hour stretch on a MEAN project. any none sleep time has been time to catch up on the detail painting on my DCGB build. I hope your paint has arrived by now. I stole some time to get to this video just now! Great Surprise to me! A package arrived today (Sunday) or at least we found it outside today, and it is the Charger! A big THANK YOU for that!
I'm a slow builder. I'm always late. Look forward to seeing her in paint. I'll be watching
Thanks Mike, I go half time work in January. Hopefully more time at the bench!!
Nice update, Captain, congrats to Vincent
Thanks Craig!!
No worries, buddy, finish when you can, in modeling we know sometimes even the best plans go awry, and not always our fault. This GB is all about having fun, so hopefully you are doing that, even with the setback. And good ole Vince snags him a kit, congrats to him! Again, thank you so much for supporting the GB, hope to see you jumping in again next year!
Thanks Colonel, I'll be there, still have Penelope Pitstop LOL
A crazy kit, Oron. Wish you much fun with this. Gun metal color is a nice idea. Greetings, Joachim
Thanks my friend, yes I was surprised how many colors. Didn't remember that watching the show years ago.
I hate paint issues. Gunmetal will look good on the car! Congratulations to Vinnie on the drawing.
Yes me too. My fault though, I should know with Tamiya to look at the cap.
Big Congrats to Vince 🎉
Maybe you can enter that build in the Halloween GB also. 🙂 Congrats to Vince on the luck of the draw.
Hey good idea, 2 for 1 special. Thanks Steve!!!
Keep having fun building that is the game👍
Amen, it is fun and most setbacks I create myself LOL
That’s not a problem at all capt. Finish when you can. Don’t forget to email me your address so I can get your token mailed out to ya buddy. Papadan

Great update Oron some cool projects in mind there. The summer did fly by as usual. 😊
Thanks my friend!! Yes I sneezed and the summer was gone, dang allergies! LOL
Great cartoon build, haven and my wife knows Ron got to many kits in fact I am think selling my large refit and others Just do not have the room for them
No problem buddy, hope you're well!!!
Great video, glad you missed the COVID (it sucks to get it). Somehow I missed the Cartoon GB, look forward to seeing those come back. Please count me in on the contest if you don't mind
Papa Dan and Colonel Reb started the cartoon build again this year. Lasts the month of September. You have time. I've added you to the list.
@@thecaptain2521 Thanks I will see hat I can add
Nice Ferrarri and Shelby kit Oron, "I'm in". Glad that you are doing well.😊
Thanks buddy!! Got you down, so far only 3 of you for the drawing.
Good thing Covid passed you by. Now you can devote yourself intensively to all the treasures in your stash. Interesting, slightly different models, which all will certainly bring a lot of fun. All the best, Oron. Greetings, Joachim
Thanks so much my friend for always being so faithful and watching my videos!!
