Not anymore than the damage I had already done, the Jin seal helps it heal a little as well

What’s the purpose your doing it for?
The purpose is to create duplicates of the tree
It's not only beautiful, I love that it offers birds shade and protection as the Yew grow.
It becomes a ecosystem over time! Birds have landed on it a few times now

Yes! It's a growing collection, I think I have about 12 varieties about 25 total Japanese maples right now. That is a standard Acer Palmatum.
