Thanks for the update. It looks beautiful. Friends who’ve been in TV for 14 years report have never lost power and only damage from storms ever was a roof shingle that was easily replaced. They LOVE it there!

The 30% drop in your home value in The Villages may not be visible today but it happened, how does anyone who relies on an electrical life saving medical device survive these massive storms and the power outages that follow. Not a peaceful retirement plus the homes are filled with mold.

Glad everything is ok........I have a home in Moultrie Creek, but haven't moved down yet. I have a neighbor checking on my house and only a bedroom screen popped out, but he popped it back in, they did lose power around 1am and my power was restored at 6:19am but areas down there still are without power. Thanks for the viceos.

The irony of you narrating about car insurance prices, statistics, and bad TV drivers while you only used your turn signal one time during many lane changes and exceeded the speed limit a few times. It's 20 mph in the roundabouts, not 35, and 35mph after the roundabout, not 40+. I'm not knocking your driving because I drive the same way, especially crisscrossing lanes in a roundabout when there's no one next to me. That's a carbon monoxide alert, not a smoke detection alert. You do NOT get false alarms from carbon monoxide. The carpet cleaners probably had their truck too close to your house while it was running and it filled your house with carbon monoxide while they were working. Carbon monoxide alarms work on a time-delay feature to avoid false alarms, they do an internal calculation to determine the buildup of carbon monoxide in the average persons bloodstream based on the PPM concentration they are measuring. You were in severe danger and you absolutely should have called the fire department in that situation, you were quite literally in a lethal environment and totally unaware since carbon monoxide has no odor, taste, or color.
