We lift up little Emery and pray for healing in her body--a new digestive tract that processes food without inflammation. We pray that Emery would have no fear nor discouragement, but would be overcome with comfort by Your presence, for You uphold her with Your righteous right hand. We pray for Emery's lungs and respiratory system to be healed and made new, no longer requiring a ventilator. We pray for Emery to know You, God and to delight in her Father in heaven. God, I also pray for Zach, for his faith to be stirred and steadfast, for his resolve to be in Christ, and for him to walk (and run) open-handed, believing that Your will is being done in his life; You get the glory, God, and Zach gets the blessing. Jesus, you are the Healer and we ask you to heal Emery from head to toe. Be with Zach as he runs this race for Emery. Keep him healthy and let him run the race well! Let us fear the LORD by raising Him above all things--above all voices, above all circumstances, above all fears, above all desires, that we may know Him and enter into life (Matthew 19:17). Now hope does not disappoint, because the love of God has been poured out in our hearts by the Holy Spirit who was given to us.

Well spoken! I am faced with this reality today as I mourn the Lord calling my Grandpa home today on this Easter Sunday. It wasn't until this very morning that I finally read the Gospel to him and I have to believe that it solidified his choice to spend eternity with Jesus as he died so shortly after. Your words are so true in that every moment counts for the Glory of Christ and I will give an account for all of it someday. It is my prayer that I really grasp what my soul is holding on to right now that is the confidence to boldly and unashamedly live my life as a witness for the sacrifice of Jesus Christ! Amen Brother! Totally sympathize with the feeling confined and anxious to do something. I can only imagine how much more confined you guys are feeling. The responsibility and weight feels soul draining. I've been trying to keep my eyes on the bigger picture as well. I'm not at all in a good place now either. It's a crushing weight.
