Going back. Sonic is now above the speed equation. Meaning he basically blitzes mario. Because not only he now has inf speed but he has immeasurable speed. And I wanna say. Mario will not have all of his kit. This is like saying a batman with prep time will defeat god. But now let's talk. Speed and agility and stamina is easily all for sonic. Along with strength. Durability wise. It's actually close. But AP is something sonic claps at, because he'll be able to yeet mario with a bitch slap. Now into abilities. Mario definitely has a lot more items. But sonic has forms and items that are very good on their own. Not to mention the only stackable thing for mario is the cherry powerup which only lasts a hit (basically a weak shadow clone but more restricted.) The other powerups aren't stackable. Not to mention the white tonki which is something that legit gets blitzed away by lava. The only powerups I see mario having are. Iron body, mushroom, fire flower (to amp his fire), power star, wing cap, leaf cap, cat suit. Those are the items that mario has the most access to. The rest are mostly for the game it's on. And never gets rementioned unless the devs remember. So yeah. Sonic's kit here is. Chaos emerald (1-2), invincibility shield, fire shield (sometimes), electric shield (sometimes). This kit might not seem much. But remember those abilities and items are things we see in most sonic games that's about it. You should remember a single chaos emerald legit is able to stop time, so yeah. Sonic can legit just pause out mario and stall out his abilities. The rest of his abilities enhance him. By speed or AP. Remember I'm going by their abilities that they keep with them or are in lots of games. Also yes sonic can use chaos control.
