Helen Reddy was a classy lady, a pioneer and a great singer. She passed away in 2020 but her legacy has not been apreciated in the way it should be! A great injustice!
I love this song but those words "until I make my brother understand" in my mind if you have to make him, then what are you not doing right to force apon your brother, what a shame for a great song that it is still relevant today that you feel you need to make (force) your brother to understand, is that what it means to be woman.

So it was an extremely moving Song along with the Women's Rights movement gaining more n more momentum all the Time then.
