Good work bro. Try to maintain your elbow close to the body and not opened or pointing outside. What's your opinion on those NS 2/b?
👍🏾. Have a full review on these gloves 😬. 2/b?
Can you wear these for sanctioned amateur fights ?
@edmdropsonly2816 Great question. Might have to ask FORTRESS that. Would love to find out too!
How do these compare to bayoneta
@@Spaghettikatana will have to find out in a few weeks
Love thier HHF gloves. I ordered the polyurethane/latex and hopefully comes in Friday.
@@ceerock8088 How exciting! Let me know how they differ!
@@minataurmax4848 just got the gloves today 16oz. It has a looser fit then the 16oz HHF. Definitely needs to be broken in. It feels good.
Looks like you are having fun, keep the good work!!
@@ericgomes7763 i sure am! Thank you🙏🏾
Hi bro ! Just seen this video even though a year old. I recommend loosen the knuckle strapping and get 2m compression wraps to compress the knuckle section . This will compact/ shrink the padding allowing more space in your gloves . Preventing the padding from being pushed back and the knuckle straps digging in between fingers
@@fortressboxingtv3295 great tip!
Keep up the good work my bro!
Thanks, appreciate it!
@@minataurmax4848 Looking at getting some new gloves mate any suggestions on gloves for a power hitter? I'm a heavyweight so I need something durable but comfortable.
i love ur videos keep making boxing asmr and unboxing and reviews
Thank you! Appreciate your feedback!
Hi, great review. What are your measurements? I can't decide between the 14 oz vs 16 oz for general training ( I use 16 oz for sparring). Many people say the newer 14 oz Wining are smaller than the older version. I'm 182 cm, 88 kg with a hand circumference of 21,5 cm.
Thank you for that, appreciate it! My hand is 22cm. I like my gloves to feel sleek and not clunky, so I'd go 14oz, nice and snug. Dont know about the 'new' 14oz sizing. If you decide to buy, if you would not mind mentioning this channel to the place you buy from. It really helps get this information out there,v Hope that helps.
Thanks man!
Great gloves Edgar!
Bullshit
Just ordered the 12oz from japanusa. Can't wait to receive them.
Congrats! Can't beat an icon!
Hello from Australia! Gotta keep them hands up, keep the combinations coming and keep the head moving 👊🥊🔥 Pain is weakness leaving the body as my coach would say.
Appreciate the feedback! Which part of Oz you from?
My hand measured 9cm so I chose a large. I hope it’s the correct size. What does the sizing feel like?
@@aidenryu not sure what you mean.
@@minataurmax4848I’m curious how the large fit on you? I finally got them in the mail and the large had a lot of excess fabric on the sides of the palm. I used their size chart and it said to get large based on my 9cm hand measurement, but i should’ve gotten a medium instead of the large because I feel they are too big and no wrist support. I also agree about the Velcro on the knuckles not laying flush
@4KEly both are good gloves and you wont go wrong. BUT if you want a snug feel and have medium hands WINNING is going to be my pick. FLY is for those who have bigger palms. So depends on your genetics, what do you have?
how are they feeling now? I ordered my own pair of mexicombate in 14 oz!
Nice! what colour way did you get?
When you keep using them, the leather gets softer. When you stop and use a more plush cushier inner lining and then come back to these, you feel the leather on your knuckles
i use Fortress T1 fast wraps too
@@minataurmax4848i see, i ordered mine in a wine red/cream colorway, split halfway oncthe wrist side and at the back of the cuff
gorgeous gloves. take care of them and they will last you for a long time. Those are la creme de la creme designed by EVERLAST.
@@sharamrock2580 Haha, nice. Do you have them yourself?
I have a 20 oz. pair of Bayoneta' and got a 16 oz. pair for the gym for my female sparring partners. They are great! Thanks Edgar!
@@ThomasHillmanHillman Glad you like them!
Nice
Thank you kind sir.
@ceerock8088 Both gloves at the same time? What colours you getting?
Have you reviewed it bro?
Nope. Thinking of selling them in pristine condition instead of using them. Why? You thinking of getting some?
Please try the new sporting HGP gloves. I hear they are basically like the Grant orthopedic padding gloves!
Oooo, duely noted! Do you have them? Where you get them from?
@@minataurmax4848 they should be on the new sporting website. No I haven’t tried them
@@minataurmax4848 yes I have them very nice gloves. You can get them off new sporting website. Waiting on a pair of the regular new sporting gloves to try and compare. Never tried grant so can’t compare. But very nice feedback and protective. Feel kind of a cross between a pu type of glove and winning
I have been looking for these in 10 oz.
Would you sell ?
Yes, I would, where are you located(country)?
@@minataurmax4848 California, USA. Sorry.
@@davidorozco7260 gotcha, I don't know if it is worth it for you with postage and all. You can msg me in insta Minotuarmax if you like.
Great video 👌👏👏
Appreciate it! Hope it helped!
thanks for the review! was thinking of getting the mexicombate borra model, but now i have more considerations, mostly about the amount of space in the hand compartment because if theres so much more space for you, then there maybe will be too much space for my small asian hands (my hand length is 18.3cm and width is 9cm) but i do notice my bayoneta multilayer premium have the same amount of space left when i wear it as what you showed at 12:06
Appreciate the feedback. Glad the review helped. Would love to hear if you decided to get them. Also how does the extra space effect your training?
@@minataurmax4848honestly my hands dont move as much as i thought it would inside the gloves, though the large finger compartment feels like i have 2 positions to put my hands in the glove (either tucking in my first 2 knuckles or tucking in the back 2 knuckles and have the front “floating”) Either ways i still try to land punches with my front knuckles and it seems fine so far However with the classics i may end up having huge amounts of space even when wrapped up so im still on the fence about it 😅
Can we get hayabusa/Winning/Skull Tec knuckle pad reviews next?
I think I missed it but are these the regular 10oz or xl? Also, how does it fit with wraps on?
10oz. No problem with wraps.
Is that good for wide foot?
Was very snug for me
I can't for the life of me understand why ANYONE would EVER tell people to get these, it's insane. I've been testing and buying wrap systems and knuckle guards to under gloves for months. I've tested almost every known brand to every small brand. These are marketed as THE BEST OF THE BEST, their customer service is non-existent and when you call them it's always voicemail 24/7, when you message them they don't even bother to reply. You see all these big names in combat sports use them BECAUSE THEY ARE AN INFLUENCER SPONSORED BRAND, I can't emphasize this enough. Compared to the winning knuckle guards or boxraw knuckle guards, these aren't even worth the sponge you use to clean your dishes. The price tag is downright insane and the wraps they sell with them aren't nearly enough to protect your hand or wrist properly, you're forced to buy a longer length wrist wrap on top of it.
1) did you buy these? 2) what was the problem you needed solved? 3) why did you buy them? 4) why did they not meet your needs? 5) what needs do you need met?
@@minataurmax4848 1 Yes I bought them and tried returning them, they're very quick to take money but when sending money back ( item in perfect condition they suddenly disappear ) 2 Before purchase I wanted to ask some simple questions about the product and the sizing ( I don't fit within the general sizes ) , after purchase I wanted to get in contact with someone to get our money back as they clearly got their products back 3 I bought them because I thought ( as several YT channels, professionals and reddit had nothing but good things to say about them ) 4 They disappointed me because they are super bulky in the knuckles but provide close to zero actual dampening on impact when compared to boxraw for example 5 I wanted a decent knuckle guard ontop of solid wrist support
@@minataurmax4848 I'm so sorry for the late reply, my first reply never got posted for whatever reason. 1 Yes I did, bought, tested and returned without ever getting refunded however having proof that they got them 2 I wanted the best knuckle padding and wrist support ontop of it 3 For the same reasons as I just wrote above 4 The knuckle padding was the weakest by FAR and I wouldn't buy that extra knuckle piece ontop when Winning or BoxRaw already had the perfect solution in that regards and the wraps that came with them were super low quality and ridiculously short 5 Same answer as number 2, max knuckle padding and super wrist support
@@minataurmax4848 I don't know if you're deleting my replies or if it's a youtube problem, but I have answered your reply at least 5 times since I posted my comment 3 months ago and it still shows nothing
@@angerfistzalig this is the first I've heard from you since I last replied.
how do the gloves feel? in terms of feedback and protection, wrist supprot etc compared to the other gloves you own?+
I am using Fortress T1 fast wraps to protect my knuckles for now. Ill be using just hand-wraps soon to get more info. My full review will be in 3 weeks to explain all that.
My hand size is 8cm, size m or s ?
Mine is 11cm across. Ask them what they recommend with the info you have. Am curious to know what they tell you.
Thos are not bag gloves !! Made for sparring bro

What is the Lace converter brand
Lace N Loop. AU$29.95. Which country you in?
I wonder how you’re doing now :)

Going great, Boxing and self improvement on top 🔝
@@JoinTheVictoriousVoyage great to hear! Which part of the world you from?
I’m from Australia 🇦🇺
@@JoinTheVictoriousVoyage Cool, where you box? What gloves you using now?
How would you compare fly 16oz gloves to winning ms600 - Most important thing for me is the softness of the glove and having a pillow feel - Would you say fly are far off from winning from having a pillow feel.
I've only got a 14oz for winning, but heard its very similar padding to a 16oz. Once you go 12oz and below, its a lot less padding. When you say pillow, you mean softer padding i assume? And i assume you also mean softer for the inside of the glove to protect your knuckles? FLY AND WINNING softness are pretty close. FLY for big palms, winning for smaller palms (asians and mexicans).
Did you have to pay any import charges for them? Also how long did they take?
At that time no extra charges. It took over a week, maybe 2? They do things slow over there. No harm touching base if they take too long. You in Oz or USA?
Uk. I’m thinking I will have to pay extra due the brexit
@@karldickens4791 gotcha, hope you happy with em.

That is very cool. I love it. Let me know what you think of it. Would love to hear your take on its use too.
@@minataurmax4848 i have the 16oz and the finger compartment feels super tight. I dont think i can wear handwraps and train with these
Which is better the bayoneta premium or fly premium for sparring and price/quality
If you care about your sparring partner, FLY. Cost wise, Fly premium if you have the extra cash and don’t mind paying that much. Both are good quality gloves.
@@minataurmax4848 how about the bayoneta premium PUL, they are soft enough for sparring, and with no price limit in mind, which would be best overall quality of the leather and hand fit?
if you have to keep 1 pair of gloves, which one would you keep?
Winning and a very close second is the everlast MX2. What gloves do you have?
nice. i had winning and fly X in the past.
Thanks. What did you think of the fly X padding? Protects your knuckles or can you feel them come through to the bag?
@@minataurmax4848 exactly. i didn't use them for sparring , it feels so thin.
@minataurmax4848 wich better for sparring?? Winning or fly ???
I just purchased these shoes. Did you ever try them on and what did you think for boxing purposes?
I use them occassionally as I realised I prefer more padding for the soles of my feet. If it was a purely hitting the bag boxing session, then they are fine. Hard to get on but fits snugly when finally get them on. What is your experience like?
@@minataurmax4848 I actually just got them yesterday, but I’ll try them this evening and let you know! I was having second thoughts the luckily I went one size higher, in a wide. I couldn’t find any other channels, but yours that reviewed this popular shoe on Amazon. Thank you so much!
Which one is better
Depends what you are looking for in gloves. What top 2 things you need from your gloves?
@@minataurmax4848 i already have the flys waiting for my bayoneta to arrive. My top 2 things for gloves would be how nice the feedback is and quality. What do you like more out the two?
which one do you like better between new sporting and bayoneta?
Personally I prefer my Bayoneta, its the entirely latex OG model, not the latest PUH. I like it better as it has a nice 'POP' on the bag. NW still is rigid and very protective but I have yet to get the 'POP' I like when I lay it in. Are you considering between both gloves? Do you know what you are looking for in a new set of gloves?
@@minataurmax4848 i have cleto and i like it. Yeah i love latex. And wondering how pulat feels like. Now I'm looking for a lighter gloves. My 14oz cleto weigh 18oz on scale. Did you weigh your gloves on a scale?
these are $150us here in america
Is that a lot to pay normally? What does an everyday person doing boxing pay for gloves?
@@minataurmax4848 avg price for people into buying gloves is like $200usd gloves like fly x line price and what not
@@minataurmax4848compared to the high end brands $150 isn’t bad. Cleo Reyes is $200 + for fight gloves, and it’s the same for rival too.
Yess bryant boxing has arrived
Haha! You been eyeing them for a while?
Nice review bro. Are these good for power punching? I know its a mexican glove but it looks protective. Do your knuckles punch thru the padding? I have knuckle issues.
Thank you! Yes, hit as hard as you want, your knuckles ain't going no where! 1) How heavy are you? 2) What happened to your knuckles? 3) What gloves do you have now? 4) What Oz gloves do you use?
@@minataurmax4848 Thank you for taking the time to reply. Im 145 lbs. My right middle knuckle always hurt when punching hard. My current glove is Necalli which serves me well. Thats the only glove that I dont feel hamd pain. Im currently trying out topking, topboxer win1, ringtocage c17 anything pillowy like winnings they dont work for me. All my gloves are 16 oz.
