Son f18?
F-18 Hornet, yes. 👍🏻
Think they are mating and a second male is trying to push the first male off the female.
In my country, India, we call it bhatura served with chickpea curry
Nice close up. Thanks for sharing & big like
Amazing footage! That looks like a big fish (do you know what kind?) the bird caught! The fish was struggling, but the hungry Heron managed to fully consume (alive?!) it all okay? It looked like the unlucky thing was desperately kicking sliding down that long throat! I wonder, does the large fish stand any chance of escaping if eaten in that condition? Maybe it can turn around inside the elastic throat/stomach and has a chance of survival here.
I’m Not certain what type of fish. Sorry.
Hello How are you ?
Absolutely Vivek
Hey toni 👋 Vivek this side. Can I suggest you something regarding your podcast?
Yes, Vivek. What is your suggestion?
Of course I’ll never forget. Doing home improvements setting up my tools for the day, 30 miles N of the city. Homeowner Kai was NYPD he comes running up the deck stairs “fucking plane just hit the World Trade Center “ I’m like what? He was in the house and gone in 30 seconds going there. I went inside and saw the tv and my jaw just dropped looking at Tower 1 billowing smoke. 30 seconds later the second plane hit and I was like this is world war 3 starting right now. Stood watching in disbelief, called my Dad who was always so chill and when I told him, I’ll never forget his reaction, he was shaken. Totally rocked, like shocked and rocked, it shook him. Nothing shook him. Myself, I was just glued to the tv, alone. Kai NYPD was gone on his way to the city. I watched as the news of the Pentagon being hit was announced and the madness of the news reports kept coming in, all the while watching the towers burn and those unfortunate tortured people who fell or were forced to jump to their demise. It was horrible. But I watched. I watched a close up view of the south tower burning and was thinking about the 93 attack in the basement. And the massive reconstruction that had to be done after that. So I’m saying damn they’re gonna have to remove like 30 stories off the top of that building to repair that fire damage. And then I’m watching the fire. Blazing torching fire minute after minute the camera angle never changed and I’m saying oh my god this building is getting weaker and weaker. Weaker and weaker. It was gonna fail. Just as I was wondering how bad it would be it buckled and collapsed. And then kept going. I remember saying NoNoNoNoNoNoNoNo as I watched it go all the way down. I really couldn’t believe my eyes. The Twin Towers were always special to me. I was born in 69, my Dad was a structural engineer and always told me about how awesome they were, the construction of them, and how beautiful they were. I had posters in my room of them. One Christmas he bought me a plastic erector set and had built the Twin Towers next to the tree. I had to go, to see for myself from the mountain road nearby where I had a view of Manhattan if it was real. There were many people there looking as I was, for horrible confirmation that it was real. We could see the smoke and ruin from 30 miles away. That was it, reality set in. I went to my wife who was working and hadn’t been watching. She saw my face and realized immediately how bad it was. We got our young boys out of school, went home and spent the rest of the day in great shock and dismay. Realized that we knew people who worked at Cantor Fitzgerald in the N Tower and later found out they were lost. As well as a friend’s brother who was FDNY who never made it out. RIP Robert G McCarthy, Gerald Oleary, and Thomas Schoales FDNY
I wrote that while listening to your podcast, thanks for letting me tell my story
Thomas….thank you so much for that. What a beautifully written and sincerely expressed comment. So sad. You said it all right there…the shock of it all…so unreal…so sorry for your loss as well…we must always remember those that left us and honor those that served and continue to serve in both civil and military service to us….for us…thank you, T. I’ve read it twice…😞…very well said…and thank you very much for listening as well. It mean a lot. Tony
@@tonyt8104 you’re the one that asked, and I just spilled out what happened, and I remember every little detail. Every September 11 I’m drawn back into it, and there are times in between as well of course. But September 11 each year it’s the same. I watch the reading of the names in the morning, every one of them, I feel like I’m doing a disservice if I don’t watch. So many lives lost, and exponentially more affected. Then I dive in deeper, watching the news reports and TH-cam videos and documentaries for hours and hours. Something keeps me there, I don’t know what. Thanks for listening to my story, I appreciate your reply, and your compliments to my writing. And I fully support and recognize our military and law enforcement personal as you mentioned. I know they are good and they do their best to uphold the values of our great country. Cool podcast you got, I’ve subscribed, I’ll write in from time to time
There is one crazy thing though I went to a small rural high school with about 90 percent white student body. A month before 9/11 we got a new student who was Arabic and for the majority of my classmates this was the first Arabic person they ever met. The poor guy wasnt even Muslim he was Christian like the majority of the rest of us but alot ppl didn't bother to find that out about him and assumed he was Muslim. I honestly given the shit he got put through was amazed he graduated
Wow. Must have been difficult for him. We often judge books by their cover. We have a guy around here that barely speaks English but owns a discount item store. People post on social media how rude he is, ignorant, etc… But the reality is, they’ve never taken the time to ask him his name, how he’s doing, and just be cool to him. He looks different than any of us, looks miserable.. but he’s a really cool guy. How do I know this? I took the time to ask him his name, how he’s doing, and every time I go in his store I mess and joke with him and he lights up. He’s a shy dude who’s awkward around others, works his butt off, and is very misunderstood…if only we all took the time to understand each other. Thank you for your replies. It’s nice to know someone out there listens! Have a great weekend! Tony ✌🏻😎
It effected me and my classmates in several ways. Patriotism was always next to religion a big part of our lives in our rincky dink tiny community. Our student council hadn't decided on a fund raising project for the year but after 9/11 flag pins became the rage where I live and that became our project. My fingers still hurt from the pricks of the safety pins lol. But several of my classmates also changed their post high school plans and joined the military as the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan started
Thank you for that, Misty. Love that faith and patriotism connection!!! 👍🏻🇺🇸💪🏻 Tony
@@tonyt8104 I say often the only classes been more effected in recent history than classes 02 through probably around 06 at least is the classes in more recent years who COVID messed up their last years of high school. The 9/11 attacks and the resulting wars changed our lives
I was a jr in high school and when the planes hit the towers I was in a student council meeting. Don't remember y but our school pa system wasn't working that day so instead of getting on the pa system and telling all teachers to turn on their TV's the office pulled a couple students out of the gym to go tell all teachers to turn them on. Somehow they missed the classroom where we were meeting so we knew nothing til we got to our 2nd period class and I walked in mine about 5 seconds before the South Tower fell.
Thank you very much for sharing this , Misty! And thank you very much for listening as well. It’s means a lot. Have a great day! Tony 💪🏻🇺🇸✌🏻😎
i actually thought i had walked into 2nd period as the 2nd tower was struck for many years sometimes you forget the particulars like that but now looking at the timeline i remember 2nd period started around 10 and i knew something major was going on when i came into that class given the timeline it must been the tower collapsing@@tonyt8104
Checking this out now :)
I would like to taste this with a lot of sweet butter ummm😋
Yes indeed!!!
Love fry bread
Me too. Glad we stopped and tried it!! 👍🏻👍🏻
I tried it with some friends in Arizona I'm glad I'm able to travel to meet new people and try different foods
Yes indeed. They put a sugar and cinnamon on one and salt on the other. It was really good. That’s the best thing about traveling like you said, meeting new people and trying different foods as well. Thank you for your reply!
in my country (Algeria) we call it "Khfaf" edit: or "Sfenj", they are the same thing but Sfenj is like a donut 🍩
This was delicious. Very glad we tried it.
