I found out this about the Tesla Semi ! | The untold model Y investigation
OK, I’m just checking back in for everyone. I went to O’Reilly’s. They tested it for free. They said my alternator was good but my battery is bad. I had it on a brown little 12 V thing that you plug in to the wall in the garage on extension cord after I got it jumpstarted off that it was running for about 30 minutes. I went right to O’Reilly‘s so total of 30 minutes only and he said it had a full charge and it was probably fine and it should start tomorrow so there you go. I asked him about the corrosion. He said it’s probably fine anyways I’m going to Minnesota warehouse tomorrow and getting a new battery. O’Reilly‘s prices were 550 CCAand they were $200
So I watched this video a month ago my battery died and then I got jumpstarted and now I’m here watching it again. I think it’s funny that I didn’t get a new battery yet so now I’m on the way to O’Reilly‘s to have test alternator and the battery but it’s 55°F and we’re supposed to get down to like 35 in the next couple days and then it’s snowing next Saturday soI think I need to get this ready for winter cold weather PS how long am I supposed to drive it after jumpstart?
So one is 9.8 mm I need to replace the o rings on the left piston ,would you happen to know the size I need please ? Thanks 🙏
@@redbeacon4871 it would depend on your jack, that is the size you have ?
@ the 3 ton Pittsburg aluminum jack
It’s actually unsafe that I have to pull over in the middle of a highway to mess with that.
@@rickycollmusicartist try to pull over at a rest stop if possible or gas ⛽️ station let them know your just adjusting your self driving.
@ extremely inconvenient to have to do that. Feels like getting locked out of your own car. Frustrating. They will lose customers because of this.
@ yeah it’s a safety mechanism, you should have free self driving until Nov 15 or so , have you noticed that ?
@@watslockandkey yes but I’m locked out so it’s neither here nor there.
@ ok , so are you permanently locked out. I would suggest reaching out to Tesla , head to a service center if needed. They perhaps can reset it.
Could you make a longer walk around. These are ugly ducklings but good vehicles. I own a 72 (Bull nose) 304 Jeep commando and love it.
Do you know the seal dimensions?
I have not checked.I can look into that..
Looks like the Tacoma and the Tesla dropped pretty fast when you released the jack. Any concern that the fast drop may cause damage?
@@e2p718281828 not from my experience, unless the car has issues with shocks
I appreciate the video!!!! You saved my jack
Bro, they're vinyl wrapped. Ever seen the nice blue one near Paramus?
@@DHFlip18 indeed , nice blue wrap , that’s cool , did you see the yellow one on our channel.
@@watslockandkey No, I haven't but the color sounds nice. I live in NYC but go to Jersey often, I'll keep an eye out for it.
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
I need a new battery. My mechanic told me this Friday. For some strange reason, my Subaru outback always has an extremely high corroded cable post. When I got this car, it’s a 2014. It was a few years old and the positive side always had tons of corrosion on it so of course I cleaned it off and scrubbed it and drove it a while and then got a new battery right before winter it’s been a few years. I got another new battery probably Years ago, the best battery you could buy because I live in the cold tundra of Minneapolis, Minnesota and you don’t fuck around with getting a cheap ass battery. I just drove up into beautiful major country and got to see the aurora borealis and trillion stars in camp and drove back home Sunday. Everything was fine. I went to work Monday and went to the gas station and it wouldn’t start back up so I got a jumpstart and now I’m in limbo.
Hello @Timetraveler1111MN : Subaru outbacks , do have issues from time to time with starting, no rhyme or reason. It’s interesting, but if you have a warranty on your battery, that would be good , call your insurance company and request a jump.
Thumbs up
Did you void the warranty on your Tesla by hacking it up? /s
No , a rubber tool must be used though as shown in the video.
This isn't FSD JAIL, it's FSD Detainment! FSD JAIL is a week long sentence 😂😂😂 any one figure out to escape from that? Not for me of course, asking for a friend 🤥
Can that be replaced because mine is that a lot of rust and I cannot remove my spare tire
You would have to cut it off with a wire cutter, if need..
That looks like a ford ecosport
No information on jacking poiints, no information if you have air suspension to put in kack mode etc.. appreciate the effort but needs more detail.
I've been looking at this Jack debating whether to get it or not. I would like something lightweight to carry in my trunk to do oil changes on my 07 Crown Victoria which Weighs about 4100 lbs.Surprised that a Tacoma and Tesla weigh that much . Will it work to get a jack stand underneath my whale of a car? I like that you tested on 3 different vehicles.
@@h.delbruk6070 Yeah, I think this would work for you.
Trash that’s not a truck
@@ElVatoG711 What you say Willis ?
Man those are butt ugly.
Teslas are trash for stupid rich people to buy.
They are actually less than the F150 if you include gas as well.
Try an "S" - just for fun.

This is a weird and kind of pointless video. Yea lol EV’s are charged at charging stations especially teslas 🤦♂️
Tesla didn’t roll the edges? 😱

Indeed @scotthamel5967
Ok? And?? Its a car that you can buy???
Why don’t the superchargers just have an outlet like the car does everyone carries their own cable then nobody can steal the cables for the metal

Cyber Trucks need charging to
I just purchased this today and was looking for reviews. You did well on reviewing the product, you were the only one who tried it on different surfaces plus a lift on sedan, pick up, and a tesla. It’s my first jack and I am yet to open the box, excited to open it tomorrow. Wanted to rotate my tires myself, but the scissor jack that my Mercedes Benz 2004 ML350 had felt unsafe for me. Planning on changing my suspensions as well. I hope the jack serves me well. Cheers!
@@Tax_Szn hope you got the warranty if you use it regularly. It’s a good option. The jack works great all around!
Thank you so much I appreciate
Awesome information on the this jack.
Dang, need me one of those
