@@hanniejd hi! It really depends on what you intend to do with your ipad. If you're a student who wants to take notes, watch, etc, and wants to be on a budget, i think the 10th gen is good (since it's the latest base model). But if you have the budget + you want to maximize the efficiency of the pro line, the m4 is what i'd reco because you'll get the max performace of an ipad out there (especially if you'd like to draw using procreate). And i think future ios updates (3+ yrs) will be less laggy if you're using the pro version. Hope this helps! 💖

For the performance and overall quality, i think m4 is worth the price ☺️

@@paulayt thank you! my budget is mostly suitable for ipad air but ı want to use my ipad for atleast 5 years and ım planing to take notes, videos, play games, use for a laptop replacement for a few years of uni. ı tried the ipad air m2 and it gets hot when using notes with the apple pencil pro. so ım thinking of returning it and trying a diffrent ipad. did you have any problem with the notes app in m4 ipad pro? also which storage do you recommend me to get for my needs?

also forgot to mention, ı also use procreate for art.

@@hanniejd so far i haven't encountered problems with the notes app etc, but it also gets ✨hot✨ when i use it to play games 🥲. my friend who uses the air 5th gen also has the same issue so i think most users experience that. With the storage, I think the 256GB (it's what i have) is good enough because most things are saved in cloud anyway, but if you got budget i'd say 512GB.
