Elden Ring - Fortissax needs more HP [RL1, No Hit]
kinda dislike this fight in general from the passive lightning gimmick but this was way too easy for RL1, its absurd how much damage ice spear does to him

Midra just blinded me for whole 5 seconds with that explosion
Definitely one of the coolest bosses.
The music when the flame replaces his head is absolutely insane. The frenzied flame in the base game seems like it just removes everything from existence quick and easy when given the chance, but that music conveys perfectly that it‘s pure existential horror. Masterpiece.
Definitely one of the best tracks in the DLC, it’s so menacing sounding. Love that the hornsent and Marika might hate one another, but both say “nah” to the frenzied flame

Been experiencing the glitch a few times with OBS, sucks because it absolutely doesn’t sound that way as I’m recording. Fingers crossed the new update fixed it, would suck to grind a boss for no hit and have the recording be jank
That strat is insane never thought of using RL1 like that but it seems faster to deal damage, nice one G
Thanks! The spear being +8 helps for sure, but DPS on shield poking is kinda bananas. On normal runs it makes Rykard an easy first or second demigod if you want to upgrade serpent hunter a bit anyways
everytime i do it he just use lighting
You got to stay on the top of the rock so he doesn’t lightning snipe you, he’ll try to fireball you at that range but after a few shots runs over. Once he gets close, run to the edge and get ready to parry, if the positioning is weird you can take cover behind a rock near the ledge to bait him away from the ledge and reset

Argument could literally be about any dmg type if you skilled enough to dodge every single attack lol
Holy damage isn't generally weak, nor do I think anyone would claim it's so, buuuut it is THE worst damage type for bosses. The sheer amount of them that have holy as a fairly high resistance is crazy. Even with Malenia, it's the worst damage type to use against her.
True, holy damage only is admittedly pretty meh, though I wasn’t really prepared for how bad it would Radabeast. Mixed damage weapons like Golden Halberd and Siluria’s Tree in particular can be super strong, even against Radabeast
I mean... the holy damage was only doing tiny chip damage the entire fight. You're just a really good player lol

Holy damage isn’t weak, it’s just that some bosses have greater defense against holy damage, bless your holy soul for killing this witch.

Once you get the hang of it, the bosses in AC6 are hella addicting to fight. Especially the late game bosses
