Nissan elgrand E51 S2 Lockwood international dials install. this changes the KPH Nissan dials for MPH dials.
Hi Ryan, I struggled after watching another vid on hooking up my phone to the aux, but it never mentioned pressing the TV button! that might be why (but i did press mode on the steeringwheel), but is it possible to put maps on the phone onto the dashboard screen? And also play music from the phone thro' the elgrand's speakers? I have old iphone7

Hi fab video but just wondering can you get your front screen full screen or does it stay that size?
You can adjust aspect ratio on the phone. ( on android certainly)

i have connect my chromecast but when my car is moving, it will just get the blue/ black screen. if the car is not moving, i can watch using chromecast
The front screen will disable when moving if you don't have foot brake over ride harness installed. It should still be playing on the rear screen.

How does fm receiver work ?
It acts like a middle man. Your phone connect to FM receiver via Bluetooth Then all audio from your phone is recieved through the radio function of your car

Hi I use a child seat that's rear facing for my youngest. It uses the seat belt to secure.

I have the rear cats removed. Straight pipe from front cats supplied and fitted by Simon's custom exhausts.

I average just under 5 miles per litre in mine. More on motorway, less around town👍
If your worrying about how expensive it is to run then obviously its too expensive for you. We only buy this type of vehicle if we can afford to run them which normally means having a very well paid job to support "playtime" which is what its like driving one of these
think of it as a performance van, ye they love fuel, i average 14L per 100. that said, if thats eating into your budget its worth looking at another unit
how does the phone cast to the cyclone? do you have to use a hotspot?
Screen mirror which yeah is essentially Bluetooth.

What's a cyclone
It's a device that mirrors your phone screen via Bluetooth. Similar to Google or firestick.

Great video. Can I ask a stupid question? Why would you change the rev counter? Is it not the same as the old one?
If you don't change the rev counter then the silver rings around the dials will be different when lit. I think replacing them both avoids any difference between them. The light behind the silver ring lights the original differently to lockwood dials.
Where can I get this from please? Or possibly go somewhere to have it installed?

@@rxstewartIm confused on the video it looks and sounds like the two converters are one device. If the hdmi to rva is being shown where is the ntsc to pal convertor in the setup. Thanks in advance

@@75dazzza yeah the same device converts the hdmi to RCA signal and the pal to NTSC signal. It's the box I show under the middle carpet.

Any videos on fitting your dials on the E52 Elgrand?
Ryan this is brilliant, thank you, but I have a problem. When I flicked off the needles, a tiny brass nut flicked off each as well and I've no idea where they're supposed to go. Any ideas please? Thanks again
The little nut sits inside the dial head. Hope that makes sense

Superb write up, just used this to fit the lockwood kit on my e51 s3. Those needles took a bit of force to prise up, was convinced I was going to break something 😅

Sorry Darius not sure what you mean. I used a dry marker to mark the position of the dials.
Thanks very much Ryan, I have recently bought the speedo replacement face for my S3 Elgrand and was scratching my head a bit as to how I would change it over (instructions were naff) but this is great! 5 stars mate.
