I love these! If at all possible, I would like to see interviews with “old school” drivers like Snake, Bernstein, McCulloch, Pulde, Oswald…
@@speed6725 - the plan for season 2 is to get a few more interviews with old school guys!
Awesome thanks
Absolutely loved Billy Meyers involvement in Nitro Funny Car. So sad when he left the sport in the the late 80's. Fuel Funny car misses him a ton.
I don't think you will ever find another guest that can claim and deserve favorite driver funny car and track 😂
For sure! Billy is a legend on multiple fronts.
I ENJOY LISTENING TO BILLY, BUT I DO DISAGREE WITH HIM ABOUT 1/4 VS 1000 FEET. THE MPH WAS JUST UPED TO 341. IF THEY STILL RACED 1/4 HOW MANY DRIVER WHOULD HAVE BEEN KILLED ???? WAY TOO MANY !!!!!
Billy was a great racer,& a very nice guy.Used to talk to him alot when he raced ocir
Thankyou for this interview. I always thought Billy was disqualified in the race ,not because he crossed the centre line before the tree was activated, but was disqualified for driving a race car the wrong way down the drag strip.
Great to see this guy back, good on the O'le hound dog for hiring Jack !
There's Won Guy That can Step in 4 John . its Fast Jack Beckman ./ and he's doing a Top Awesome Job WHAT a Cool interview Love Drag Racing From 1974 at Santa Pod Raceway /Greeting's From UK and Good luck 4 2025 ?
Really enjoyed the interview and learning about Daniel Wilkerson, rather than just being referred too as Tims son .
Been a fan of Jack Beckman from day one however learned more about this man and his involvement in drag racing in this 41 minute video great job Thank you…
@@jamessullivan536 - thanks for watching!!

@@dennisanderson-g6c - thanks for watching! We could have let Buddy and Jack talk for HOURS. We have one episode left this season and then we’ll be back next year!
I met FJBeckman at Force’s xmas toys for tots kids car show. He is an amazing person and the a amazing Driver. The sponsors would be crazy not to keep him in the seat!
11-17-2024 I was there at Pomona, Cali. Standing at the chain link fence, almost to the starting line. It was Epic 😎 Congratulations! 👏👏👏 #1JFR and Fast Jack Beckman 🏆 💨💨💨🚦
Jack is a class guy! JFR picked the right guy! another great ambassador for the sport
Love your interviews Buddy! Thanks! I love to hear the details from each driver in their perspectives and quite a lot of similarities from funny car perspectives but more interesting from both top fuel and funny car.
Congtrats to Buddy and Jack! A great show for any drag race fan. Thanks!
Thanks for watching!
Good talk. Subscribed.
We have one more episode left this season and then we’ll be back next year!
Really really good show!! Thank you!
Excellent interview. So happy you sat in John's seat this year. Hope for next year, too!
go Fast Jack
I was at that race in Richmond where John got hurt he wrecked right in front of me man
What a great intro question and a great response by Dan. Destined is hard to confirm, passion and calling is what I seem to have. Edit: after watching the whole video I can only say that it was such a pleasure to hear the two of you talking so naturally about racing. You can see that everyone is starting to get more comfortable. I can't wait to finish the series. Also, from the fan's perspective: you all seem like legends of drivers. There was nothing else in the world that I've come close to (short of explosive, concussive, blasts) that give you that visceral feel. You body shakes uncontrollably, your vision blurs, and for a very brief 3 seconds...you hear the mightiest roar of an engine you've ever heard. I thought I could NEVER sit here and listen to you speak so casually and spread your knowledge of the subject. This interaction has been the unreal.
@@ClintsScion - thanks for watching Clint! We have one episode left this season, and then we’ll be back with season 2 next year! We love getting to highlight the unique personalities of our sport.
@TalkinFunnyCarswithBuddyHull I have a feeling that the 2025 race season is going to be full of fun surprises! I'm looking forward to the series, (b)uddy.
Respect for each other as a driver is imperative. The competitive spirit is what drives us and the car, but our true competition is only with ourselves at the end of the day. Very wise man, Cruz. I can't wait to meet all of you.
Hell yeah, Buddy. This is exciting! edit: I'm with Ron on this one at around the 12:00 mark, they were the sexiest of them all. I didn't know what they were all about a year ago, but boy were they eye-catching for the exact reason he states. I so eager to learn all about these cars. Thanks for this series, Buddy.
Barley missed it on Plex….

Man Buddy, what an awesome job you did! This was the first episode I've caught, and what struck me is how relaxed and composed you are compared to your on track interviews, yet you are in control of the interview ……. Daniel is not too shabby either! Fabulous job…..can’t wait for more!

I got to meet Daniel in Seattle this year and he is one of my absolute favorite funny car drivers and I ask him in Seattle if he would consider being part of my racing family and he ask me what is that and I said u are part of my racing family and I also ask him if he wanted to be my racing uncle and once I explain what a racing family is he said absolute I would luv to be your racing uncle and him and Justin Ashley are both my racing uncles and I am so honored to have Daniel as my racing uncle he is has the same personality as his dad which I also consider one of my favorite drivers
Well done Buddy and Daniel!!
well, I can remember Topeka, Kansas when cruise was running the Batmobile and after the first run, I went to him and I told him exactly how it’s going to play out and it happened exactly like I said it would force smoked it cruise went and won it. That’s why they call me the Greek.
