I like watching guys that listen to a lot of hip-hop or R&B checking out Cannibal Corpse. They are picking up on parts of songs that have a funk-like groove though they are camouflaged in grunts and blast-beats. When a band is started by the drummer and bass player aka the rhythm section a "groove" is often as important as the guitar work. He needs to listen to "The Cryptic Stench" for some more "Camoed" funky sh_t.

Aside from some 80s,a couple Eminem songs,and some of these independent artist I've always hated rap.Its filled with violence,sexualizing women,and drugs.heck I don't even go out of my way to listen to the 80s rock I grew up on..I listen to a little but for the most part it's more positive.i don't wanna hear all the garbage
