I was drinking beer one night and a friend comes up to me and says, I dare you to drink the rest of this hard liquor. I didn't think anything of it and so I dranked the rest. Before long my whole world was spinning. So much so that I got up and went out the door. But this place had rock steps. But as drunk as i was practically dancing on the stone steps. I was going up and down the steps several times just to get down the stone steps. Thank God I did not fall and break my neck. Wound up sleep walking and when I came to, I was in front of several other people and they were saying we need to get you to a hospital because you hit your head and looks like you need stitches But nobody was willing to offer the ride to the hospital. But I became awake once again, then I spoke up out of sleep walk and pulled my keys out that belong to the car and so Kim offered to take me to the hospital. I only dranked one more time on a different night before I decided to quit, and that was 3 years ago.

But until you open it you have a strong legal case that you had no idea what was in the box and have no idea why it was sent to you. Let’s say you open it on the front porch and discover what’s inside and they immediately run on your front porch and arrest you. You still have a pretty good argument that you didn’t have the amount of time a reasonable person would have taken to figure out what’s in it and contact the proper authorities.

I worked in a United Artist Theater in the 90s. Inventory was done by counting cups and popcorn bags/buckets. They don’t track the actual popcorn or soda. We didn’t reuse cups. But we did keep brown paper bags and sleeves of clear plastic cups to get around inventory counts. I use to give my friends popcorn in brown paper bags all the time.
