I am still facing the stalling issue at 3rd gear , already done software update twice but no luck. The bike quits directly. I believe the issue is with fuel sensor or the full pump .when we hit the brakes hard is when the issue arrises

I too feel the same issue. And twice i have updated the software. Still all in vein. And the same service centre gives crap answers. But its a failure. As it stalls suddenly. And also very dangerous while driving. Atleast twice in a weel i get it. Either in 3rd or 5th gear. Hmm rest all is worth the bike.

That struck a chord with me because I've been saving up to buy a bike for the past year. I've been riding my grandad's (Bajaj Boxer) and my dad's (Splendor NXG and Pulsar 150) bikes for the past 10-11 years, and this will be MY first bike. And yes, I'm planning to buy the Triumph Scrambler 400x :) I test-rode the old Himalayan (a friend's), the Speed 400, the Conti GT 650, the new Himalayan, and this one. None of them impressed me as much as the Scrambler 400x did. I've been following news about it since its release. When I rode it, it felt like a puzzle piece clicking into place. I was instantly impressed. (I also loved the GT650, but it had a more committed riding posture, and I immediately felt discomfort in my forearms. I didn't want my first bike purchase to be an uncomfortable one, although down the line, I can see myself owning a GT as well, but we'll see) I still want to test-ride the new Svartpilen 401, but it has spoked wheels, and I'm iffy about that. If all goes well, I'll be booking the Scrambler 400x by the start of September. I'm just too damn excited for it! I've almost bought all the gear required-only the riding pants are pending.
