looking to get my first BMW most interested in the 335i considering the 330i too though ... im not very sure the price difference here in germany is crazy right now ... 8k for a 330i with about 150k km and 15k for a 335i with the same amount...

The 325i came in two different versions, the 2.5-liter N52B25 with DISA, and the 3-liter N52B30 without DISA. Both made similar power and torque figures from factory. The former is the one Australia got, and the latter America. I had to settle with the 325i, as it was the only NA straight-six available in manual. We didn’t get a 330i in stick down here, and xDrive was unavailable in wrong-hand drive. The 335i was available in three pedals, but I stayed away from it due to being less reliable and would have preferred AWD if I were to make gobs of power.

I have a 2007 E64 M6 and it's needed tons of work to keep it going but have driven it 52k miles in 30 months all across the country. In all my miles I've only seen one other one so it's unique.

My son picked up a 95 F3 400 a couple years ago only had 95,000 miles now it’s just over 110,000 miles I get to drive it whenever I can interiors shot do the the highs and lows temperatures here in Iowa winters and summer’s but it still runs like a top and sounds awesome! Can’t wait to put new struts in it and restore the interior ❤

I seem to have missed out being told to which terminal of the relay the hotwire goes. 85 or 86? Likewise, which side of the donor provides the power to avoid bypassing that fuse?

Love the car but this is literally the worse car I have ever had. I have a e64 bmw m6 my God the amount of issues I already had with this car I'm ready to give it up and get something more reliable. Clutch slave cylinder broke on me abs brake pump broke on me now my plcd sensor broke on me the smg transmission is horrible. They should of just made dct equipped in the m6's.

I got my starter out in 5 hours. Not "easy" I did cut my arm trying to get behind the coolant passage/wiring harness when I dropped a wrench. But when you disconnect the starter completely and get that bit of the harness out of the way along with that unfortunately placed 12mm bolt, a ratchet with a deep socket can get both bolts fairly easily as long as you have a decently long handle. Main things to keep in mind is not to remove the double flare-nut for the fuel line, they're very easy to damage and will require the whole line taken out from tank to engine if you damage it, instead remove the fuel line directly from dampers and just replace the crush washers, there will still be a 10mm bolt holding the bridge between the fuel rails on with the vvti models with the ACIS manifold, but you lift it out you get fairly easy access to that and its a non-issue. Keep in mind, I had a large break in the middle of this searching for the ratchet that fell behind that coolant passage into the trans tunnel, this job could very easily be a 4 hour job if I did it enough. Also keep in mind since you are in there, if you have a VVTI ACIS manifold, replace the damn VSV on the bottom of the intake, it is incredibly common for those to go bad. The other big one you will probably notice when you do this job is that the valve seals leak on these engines, even under 100k you will see the carbon buildup and evidence for valve seal leaks and even under 100k you will have starter issues at the age of the car, consider when you're doing big jobs like this or the timing to get in there, reseal each valve with the cylinders pressurized and reshim your valves ontop of that. At this age its a small price to pay for futureproofing, those kinds of jobs could last you 30+ years as they already have from factory.

After i had a M5 E60 in 2009 to 2012 and idiotically gave it back ... i searched and found a excellent treated one in Oktober 2023, and what can i say, like a old Love i always missed! I still have my M6 GC (F06) i also never going to give away. Even if the M5 is not nearly as close to the Performance of the M6, the character and sould this driving machine has, is on another level!

I own a 2007 M6 E63 Coupe as a daily driver. Phenomenal piece of machinery. I smile knowing it Is sitting in my driveway waiting for me. I make excuses to go somewhere just to drive it. And I damn near nut my paints when I push it to redline. No regrets! Best feeling on earth!

It will be a collectible but there will probably never be a working and running 100 year old SC in 2092 like we have 1924 Fords that are 100 years old and working in 2024. The electronics and plastics in the car will degrade from the passage of time. It will still be a nice museum piece to look at. This is from when Toyota was building a name for the Lexus brand so their entire approach to it was to build it to be the best of the best then figure out how to make it commercially practical. These days Lexus cars are made starting with the approach of it needs to cost X retail, dealers need to make X, and the corporate profit needs to be X. Then they figure out what can be spent on R&D. I have had three SCs and was amazed by the ride quality, comfort, material quality, and styling. They were 20 years ahead of the competition then. I wish Toyota had done with them what VW did with the beetle and produced them for decades making minor changes and improvements along the way. The fundamental design of the car was perfection. If it was still in production now and had modern stuff like smart keys, smart cruise, blind spot monitoring, and park sensors it could not get any better.

M21 is the place to put fuse if you dont want it to possibly catch fire i did same place m7 bout burt my box completely suggested any other options though?

I have a '99 SC400 that I bought 9 years ago. It had 117k miles when I bought it and currently hit 150k miles. Try as I might, I cannot find a good reason to buy a different car. The 290 HSP engine has as much speed as I could ever want. I picked up a California '98 SC400 a year ago with 145k miles---and sold it for $13,400. For those that really know these cars, they are a tremendous value.

Nobody wants the sc4's. Having owned several 300s and 400s as well as other Toyotas I can assure you. 1uz engines go for around $500 compared to the 2jz which sells for anywhere from $700-$1500. While the 400s are great cars they also DID NOT come with a manual gear box. Furthermore in my experience many of them are riddled with electrical problems including the seldom functioning audio systems.

If you are truly an owner of an M6, you don't know half of the things your M6 e63 has. The car you have weighs 3800 lbs, same as an M3/M4, but more naturally aspirated power, and so much more

I have a 98 sc400 with 200k miles and these cars don't age well at all. Parts are hard to get and really expensive. Honestly the cost of ownership is as high as a v12 german car. Mine has been nothing but a endless moneypit something always keeps breaking.

Did you jumper that from the starter relay to just a different fuse. Ive done everything on this truck except change the fuse box and i homestly cant afford to go buy anymore parts right now baha but if this works ill be very grateful for sure

Most of them are actually about 3600-700lbs, on only the JDM V8 Soarer (UZZ32) with hydraulic active suspension (not air) was fully loaded and they tip the scales at about 4000lbs, yet offer tremendous handling (Same idea as the rare active suspension C4 Corvette etc)

I did have a slight concern about the gas on my sc though, if anyone has any thoughts- when I open my gas cap to refuel, it sounds like I'm emptying a balloon. There a loud, big escape of air, should I have that looked at?

Thanks for the video- I've had my sc300 for almost a year now and have run into half of these problems ( power steering, interior cracking, struts, headlamp fading) and with that I can better prepare for the rest of the common issues I may face. I know my window has been slowing down on the passenger side for some time and didn't think much of it, lol.

I got 2 sitting in my garage. And about 4 engines for it also. Once you learn how to work on em you keep forever

a little fun fact about the facelifted models the 98-00 the sc400 jumps from 250 hp to having vvti and 290hp and gaining an extra gear
