Isthe waterproofing laminated to the outside layer, or does it hang separately?
It's a shame x-system it leaks after a year of use with the pump. So much money for such poor quality.
love the end lolllll
Loved the review, thank you!
are the chest protectors removable?
Cliff, I think we can say "A Star is Born"
OH I didn't know the trousers would not have liner. Makes the Dainese Antartica better for cold.
Hi , from Italy🙂 what is a best summer jacket for u?because in this review I feel u not happy about product or close :) Tnx a lot
I have just bought an x System 2.0. It doesn't come with a one way check valve. Has this been deleted in the 2.0 X System?
Yes, I have just upgraded from xSystem 1.0 to the xSystem 2.0 and the 2.0 does not require the check valve.
Is it CE certified?
Well, the protection level is about the same as wearing a folded newspaper or a slim sponge…
No
Does the older carlsbad pants zip to the new Carlsbad jacket? Also can the older carlsbad pants take the klim braces?
I have this Jacket - have had it for 2 years now - there are hidden Document / Passport pockets behind the armour and a Credit card pocket on the arm cuff area. Completely waterproof and sheds water from the top layer so the jacket doesn't absorb water and get heavy in a downpour. Vents work really well and are cool during summer riding - I no longer need to use an air mesh jacket and instead go for this one every trip. (I have travelled comfortably in 35 degree heat and felt fine). The jacket is cold in winter and there is no Thermal inner so you do need to invest in a decent Quilted Down jacket for winter riding. I also sometimes use a Gerbings Heated jacket underneath if it is really chilly. Negatives - Cuffs are bad design and dont open wide enough to get wet weather gloves under them so it is always a long process of fiddling to get the gloves under the jacket. All in all a great touring jacket - I find it a great all-rounder
Can it be that easy?
I like that jacket looks good on too
love the end!
Great gear.
Now I'm gonna have to start carrying round my workshop cupboard door with me as that's where i put my stickers, dont wanna look like I've got Hodophobia...
Good summary. I wish there was a store nearby with it so I could see how it fits and how heavy it is.
