One question: The previous Golden Age were from volume 1 to 10 I think. This new omnibus reprint has the same content as the precious volume 1 & 2, am I right?

Just got me some Black Lagoon manga off Amazon and the books look like they been on a Lagoon Company mission...😆

I have both omni's of the Max Punisher Ennis series aswell as the marvel knight punisher Omni. Absolutely outstanding. I won't be buying these new prints just for the aesthetic differences. As for Stan Lee...I agree with Ennis in that Lee was an appalling writer...and with Moore that Lee lied about creating many characters and was a very dubious character. Lee was a good salesman though to the impressionable kids who know no better...that's about it. If you want intelligent, adult and brutally graphic ( all violence is ugly even though Marvel hide the fact ) storylines then snap this up. No childish, badly written " Super heroes " here.

Are the stories in this one issue long or are they multiple issues long?

The artwork is reason enough to get it for me personally. Absolutely awsome, damn.

I read this story the other day and i loved it. There is so much depth and layers to it. Plus the art is AMAZING. I did also read the Hostage by the same creator and the story was ok. The art was gorgeous but could i fuck tell you what was going on in in some of those panels. Still absolutely gorgeous art, but between the flow of the story and chaotic art it was a pleasure and a chore at the same time when reading it. This book on the other hand is much better imho 👍

I liked Volume 3 quite a bit. Both stories are satisfying, however Combat is a notch above! Incredible read. My favorite Orochi tales ranked so far: Bones, Combat, Sisters, Key, Stage, Home, Prodigy. On to Volume 4! Thanks for your video review.

I wouldn’t buy that book, there’s the reprint of the absolute edition which includes all of them, ww spirit of truth, batman war on crime, superman peace on earth, Shazam too, all in just one book

Man I wish both Batman and Superman would get a vol 4 it's such a shame that DC isn't doing anymore more earth one books!

I just finished reading my copy last night and continue to enjoy Umezz's work. I prefer Volume 1, but 2 is just as memorable. When the shocks hit, they hit pretty intense. An Amazon review mentions that the third story, Key, is pretty much a lift of a 1949 movie, The Window. Reading this insight confirms for me that Umezz is probably inspired by more Western cinema. I get that vibe in a lot of his stories. Thanks, Cridical Media. I'll comment on your Volume 3 when I eventually receive and read it. Thank you for your videos.

Just read this volume last night. The second story, Bones, really won me over to Orochi. I agree with you on the padding of the story on the hand gestures. I’ve read and enjoyed the entirety of The Drifting Classroom, Reptilia, and the first volume of My Name is Shingo. Thanks for your review. I looked forward to discovering more of your channel.

I'm getting this omni as well. Like you, Question is a favorite of mine. I think there was a series by Rick Veitch in the early aughts but for whatever reason, DC won't release it as a trade. Have you read it? What do you think? I heard that the Ditko Family Foundation is releasing Mr A as a collection of trades. I don't know if that'll happen but I'm curious to see what that's like compared to the Question. Great video!

Hey man. I ordered this days ago. Loved the first Omni. Came as a huge surprise the first volume as I had no idea what it was about. I was very impressed with the writing. I'm hoping when this arrives and I dive in that it's as good as the previous volume! 👍 Just finished watching your showcase and man I'm pumped now! So glad it's kept the level high. Like you, this is my first major Omni pickup this year. I think I'll reread the first Omni in anticipation. All the best Daz
