Johnny’s R34 GTR back for more mapping after some nice upgrades. Now running a 6 boost exhaust manifold, Pulsar Turbo, larger injectors and fuel pump. Resulting in over 600hp

Can you tell us which 8hp70 was used? The bell housing from Charger and Jaguar would be too big? Even V8 BM!
8HP 70 from BMW..... charger and Jag are to big for the Is300 tunnel

I had RS Cosworths for years, sold the last one 15 years ago & didn't bother with performace cars after that. Started reading about a 3 cylinder 1.6 Toyota a couple of years ago & i still can't get my head around it!!! ... its crazy!!

Are yall selling transmission conversion kits for this yet?
you can use the Supra Kit. Only thing that needs changing is the gearbox mount. Just needs modify the bolt holes

@@srdtuning331 that's is insane. How far from a standard motor is it, eg it's not a billet block, obviously pistons and rods what other mods for that power level and it's still a 1.6lt
I genuinely wanna know what happened to the aisin aa80e would be great insight on people trying to do the swap... but ofcourse gatekeeping...
More then open to talking about why we swapped it to 8HP. aa80e is a grate gearbox all round holds good amount of power and will shift amazing under full load full power. But driving around town the gearbox control was never developed enough to make it smooth and soft where the 8HP and CAN TCU is amazing at both

Did you buy any chance weigh the engine. I see this engine becoming popular in the experimental aircraft market. Would he jice tonsee hw much it vibrates, it does have a large stroke and bore so it would would be good at about 4000 rpm constant. It would have large torque pulses though. Thanks for the video from the land down under.

I'm absorbing as much 8hp content as I can right now. I have a turbo E46 that is in need of an upgrade. I have a Dodge 8hp on order as well as an adapter from Seems Legit Garage. My plan is to keep the clutch pedal
Dodge 8hp might be a tight fit as the bellhousing is quite big

Isn't the reason the fitment in the tunnel was bad because you were installing a manual in the auto tunnel? It's my understanding that regardless of market, going from auto to manual transmission requires hammering the transmission tunnel. I have a RHD 5 spd manual and I only had to do minor massaging for the lockout.

Hello, I'm in the process of converting 8hp into my Supra turbo and I still haven't decided which tcu will I use. Can you make a comparison between cantcu and turbolamik tcu? Thanks
Cantcu is very very good 👌 oem feel and dont have to modify the main bord. Turbolamic is good but not as smooth on the low speed shifts. But has launch control, transbrake options and better for staging if racing
What modifications have you done for the green flames? Is it some sort of a tuning map change or the paste that people put in their exhaust? In a previous video you stated it had a Syvecs flame map.

What diff gear ratio would be used for this zf8 and 2jz combo?
8hp have a 2.9 diff but on supra 3.266 works well
