Caught myself randomly whistling the town theme while waiting for the copy machine to finish at work. Last time I played Dragon Quest 4 was in 2008, on my old DS.

Fun fact, i cant find it posted anywhere else but there is a more "Low key" version of his theme that plays: - Briefly when you first meet him in the desert, but it only plays the very intro of it - and in full (if you dont progress dialogue) with the Page encounter in the bedroom. It only plays one in full but its a really nice rendition of the theme.

I haven‘t played this Game since the Switch release in 2019 and I completely forgot about this Track until now. What a masterpiece! (I really should check out the other Games in the series)

This is like classic music to me. Just brilliant and emotional.

Serena was a useless character. She was meant to be the healer, Luminary could do exactly what she did just as efficiently not to mention he's in your party for 95% of the game. As for her character, she was so damn boring! You have the stern and serious Jade. The gentle and kind Scot Rab. The all around Bro Erik. The playful and flamboyant Sylvando. The Sassy yet powerful Veronica. The silent avatar character... Compared to that? Serena was just dull and uninteresting. They wanted her to be someone important to the point of needing to FORCE it upon the player. The developers felt the need to force her into important situations to get her character some justification for being there. But that wasn't even the biggest sin her character brought to this game. The developers felt the need for her to be important so badly, they tried to make her Veronica, a character who actually IS a good character. Veronica had to be killed off just for Serena to be given her sisters powers as if that's going to make her a better character. It didn't. It just made me resent her more. The only worth she had to me throughout the entire game was two things. 1. Keeping her as a bench party member for free heels to the important characters. Especially Veronica who beat the stuffing out of the true final boss with Magic Burst. 2. This song she played with her harp.

I play this song when I cant sleep cus it relaxes me.

This was my Pokemon game growing up. Loved this track in-game and was enthralled over this arrangement when I got the CD.

This is my breakup music. Sugiyama’s tracks were there before my relationship, and now at its end. These songs have really gotten me through a lot.

I've listened to every version of this song on YT and this is by far the best version. The choir vocals at 0:15 and 1:48 add a lot.

Fun fact, in Dragon quest IX: Baramos is the Legacy boss you're most likely to face first when you decide to start hunting them. Baramos in almost every DQ game he has made an appearence in is often used as the "Oh Shit, the game's not pulling it's Punches anymore" boss, and for good reason.

It's been ages since i played DQM2. But when does this play in DQM2? I only remember that Terry was in DQM2 as a Boss.
