Dallas stars are still have a chance to win the cup. 2020 finals they had no chance against the lightning. Every team that wins a Stanley Cup is defensive and goaltending and jake oettinger is one of the best goalies in the league today. Ben isn’t going the best player on the team because with his age you can’t expect him to do everything. The young players that stepped up this playoffs is huge and they have Robertson who is young and can score 40 goals a season and he’s produced in the playoffs this year. Don’t underestimate the Dallas stars. There are still a powerhouse in the west.

I like the prediction but Vegas is still a top team. Even though they lost important players from their cup run. They are a team not to mess with. Also I don’t think the Blackhawks are in the wild card yet. The one big thing that got this team at the bottom last year was injuries and goal scoring. Now we have added depth and scoring to the roster and hopefully a healthy Taylor Hall. I expect them to be better. If KD made those signings and if players can’t put more effort every single night. I would not be surprised if Richardson is fired.

As an Anaheim fan I wanted Levshunov but that didn't happen. We got Sennecke, which was a big surprise, but very happy Verbeek picked him. Levshunov is going to solidify Chicago's D core moving forward. You guys got a good one.

Worse thing that could of happened was Demidov to Habs , their fans are already insufferable flooding every Nhl video and forum and that was even before the pick. I saw this happen live was on hfb main board and 5min after the Demidov pick the whole first 3 pages of threads were all Hab and Demidov topics. Last year, the Habs picked the best RHD (Reinbacher) in the draft because we were weak at that position, that's why we passed on Mitchkov. This year, the Hawks did the same ... RHD are (with centermen) the hardest guys to get ... good ones can only be drafted. Hockey 101: Championship teams are built from the blue line up ... look at Toronto for an example of what not to do.

Dude ..Demidov was picked FIFTH..so that kind of debunks your myth of him being this stud player. We need defensemen and We got the best defenseman in the draft... They can obtain offensive help for Bedard through free agency signings. Trust me there are two names out there right now that have been talked about that will most likely sign with the Hawks tomorrow... There are affordable and will bring us instant offense.....
