I didn't realize that Sabrina's hand is still bothering her. Rachel Anna Demita (RAD) mentioned this in a TH-cam video the other day. This certainly helps to explain Sab's shooting difficulties! It seems like the Phantom coach needs to develop plays for both BG and Satou to score in the paint. I've noticed that the winning (2-0) teams score in the paint a lot more than the 0-2 teams. Satou is a very good power forward and maybe if she started each game by scoring in the paint, she might loosen up and start shooting her 3s better. Robin Lundgren said (in his TH-cam video) that Kah Copper is working with Angel to help her finish her shots under the basket. In an interview, Kah said that she used to have a problem finishing lay-ups, and a trainer worked with her, so she's passing the same techniques on to Angel. It's great that players are helping each other to further develop their skills. However, they may regret helping their Unrivaled teammates once the WNBA season begins and their Unrivaled teammates become their WNBA opponents once again.😁 I really like the Owls (hootie hoooo) and the Vinyl, and am really enjoying watching McBuckets and Kate Martin of the Laces. The Laces will be completely unstoppable when J Yo joins the team. They're pretty hard to beat right now. I've always been put off by AT's often excessive physicality, but I'm beginning to better appreciate her effectiveness in multiple facets of the game as I watch her play on Unrivaled. However, she did send someone flying on Monday while performing her freight train impression in the lane. Thanks for your most excellent video! Take care.

Excellent analysis!!! I agree with everything you said. Overall, the weekend debut of Unrivaled was GREAT - very EXCITING!!!!! I LOVED the Owls vs. Mist game!!! What a comeback!!! I really like the way that they have structured the fourth quarter - there will always be a game winning shot! I also like the free throw system: having only one free throw worth 1-3 points, depending on the nature of the foul. This helps keep the games moving at a quick pace. I had hoped that the Phamtom would play better than they did, even with the loss of Mabrey, but she really is essential to provide the dominant three point scoring threat they needed to possibly offset the weaknesses of some of the remaining team members. In assessing the phantom's capabilities I (stupidly) 😵‍💫 failed to take into consideration the fact that the Phantom's only person with 3x3 experience is KLS. I was aware, however, that a 6'9" center would not be able to play full court 3x3 very effectively (basketball savant not needed in order to reach this conclusion🤓). The games have been a lot of fun to watch, with the exception of the Laces vs. Phantom blowout. I had so much fun and got so pumped Friday night that I went online and bought six t-shirts to support the Unrivaled league and my favorite teams. To be clear, I had been planning to buy at least a few shirts for several days, and no alcohol or substances were involved in this purchase - just joyful exuberance! I look forward to your next excellent video.

This video was really fun to watch!!! The young Cheryl Miller, seeing Michelle Edwards again (Iowa), T-Spoon, Rebecca Lobo, and so many more. The Comets were my favorite team at the time. Iowa went to their first Final Four in 1993, and I went with a group of Iowa fans. We lost to OSU in the semifinal (they tackled our point guard with about 12 seconds to go in overtime, and no foul was called, so we lost by one point, if memory serves). Anyway, we stayed to watch the championship game in which Sheryl Swoopes scored 47 points!!! I became an instant Swoopes fan. Cynthia Cooper, Swoopes, and Tina Thompson were great players, and Janeth Arcain and Kim Perot were good, solid contributors. It's hard to imagine any WNBA team ever being able to win four championships in a row again, except maybe the Fever (with Caitlin leading the way).😁

It was really great to watch this video! I started graduate school at Iowa just after Coach C. Vivian Stringer arrived (1984). She was a great coach and recruiter. I remember hearing that Yolanda Griffith was supposed to come, but she never arrived. There were rumors that she was pregnant... but we never heard any official announcements concerning her (I think I would have heard an announcement because I was a donor and got to attend receptions with the coach and a few players after every home game). Anyway, I was thrilled to be able to finally watch her play with the Monarchs (on TV). She was a great center!!! I just Googled her - she's 54 years old now, I'm 71 - the years just fly by so fast after 45. Anyway, thanks for stirring up some very pleasant old memories.😊

An untested 3 on 3 league going against NFL, NHL, and NBA teams. There is a reason the regular WNBA season starts later in the year. Playing in an arena that only holds 850 fans, not much of a rowdy atmosphere. Lexie Hull was just averaging over 5 points a game. Rae Burrell from the sparks was just averaging under 6 points a game. Angel was shooting 11% from 5 feet out to 9 feet out under the basket. Over 65% of Unrivaled players are mediocre at best. I hope I am wrong, because all these women are drastically underpaid, but I am not very optimistic of their chances of success.

You can hear the negativity people have towards this league and the WNBA in general, Unrivaled is not counting on people in the United States to make this league a success, their audience will come from steaming services, so they don't have to worry about ticket sales or filing up seats, People don't realize that their are countries that will pay big money for women sports, that's how WNBA players make their money not in the States, so I believe Unrivaled will market it league globaly, and people will pay for it.
