We had a similar experience Andy. We went and it wasn’t warm and slow bringing the food out. But we went back and it was much better. It’s a good point you make, always go back and try again. Sometimes though it’s that bad, it puts you off going back!

My birthday coincides with Southport flower show so every year when I was a kid, instead of having a birthday party, my mum used to take me and some friends to Southport. Used to watch the Red Arrows from the outdoor swimming baths. Much better than a party

Across the road from Martinique is Manel dos Frangos…… only does chicken Piri Piri and prawns but you won’t get better Piri Piri in Albuferia. Love Martinique too the…the chefs steak in a mild curry type sauce is insanely good.

I stayed there with my wife daughter and grand daughter and if you leave from the pool exit you don't even hear Veronica's and can completly avoid it

What's the best Loch Ness or the Ginger Pig as I love Loch Ness n wanted to go to the Ginger Pig but read too many poor reviews so dodged it?

I went to Adeje in March and November and Loch Ness is amazing. We found it because we were bathing down there. Sometimes they will throw in a free strawberry daiquiri on top of the shots. The staff looked after us like we were one of their family. Loved it.

the piers where used to get raw cotton to the mills, stables with horses where at the pier to transport the cotton. the stables are now the old wigan pier night club, coming home from school i whould go into the pier stables and feed the horses

Went in july with my 90 year dad had a wonderful time went all-inclusive and privileged hotel saff lovely and plenty of choice of food some good entertainment at night lovely walks around out side

Stayed here twice the first time we were close to Veronica’s so got the pool side the second visit.We only had breakfast nice variety pools were nice had to get in early for loungers but we weren’t always bothered.right on the beach so location was good.cheap and convenient.has air con in rooms but outdated.overall hotel was ok location was good but miss the kettle in room.

Have you ever tried the restaurant Sugar and spice in Tenerife It's lovely we have been going for years it's lovely. It's near the small tandoori hut in las Americas

We have booked here for 5 days in a couple of weeks, ( Aug 24) it looks lovely & we appreciate your review. With regard to your neighbour I would have been less kind! and informed them "Between the hours of 22:00- 08:00 we will of course be quiet, Stating that we have booked a family holiday on a family holiday park, that they have also chosen, whether owner or renter to stay during the school holidays also. Confirming we are a normal family, considerate of others and will of course ensure quietness at night/very early morning" Adding "we may use the hot tub after 22:00 and can confirm there will be no shouting, just general adult conversation. In the event of any further complaints, ask them to please write them down and push through out door!!!" ( do what you want with these) 😁 I would also make absolutely sure, I leave a private DM with the owners, there may be history/previous issues in the past and let the owners know, the neighbour's unreasonable complaints impacted your holiday. The entitlement shown, probably means the neighbour's DO own their lodge/caravan and thus believes they have superiority over renters. I'd make it clear they do not, during out first conversation! You seem nice enough to have been upset over their complaint. On reflection, I hope you nipped this entitlement in the bud re what is unsocial hours and acceptable hours of noise and hopefully future renters won't have the same problem. I hope you enjoyed the rest of your holiday, without any further nonsense PS Did you visit Portmeirion Was it worth the fee? Thank you
