Great drone vid, thank you. The gatehouse is being saved from ruin with a tarpaulin over the roof for a year or two, but no sign of activity. The wife of David Crichton, Alexandra, is the daughter in law of Monzie Estate owner Isla Crichton, David's mother and after decades of neglect when many estate properties were left unoccupied and allowed to just decay, it seems she is the main driving force restoring some places on Monzie estate. Lets hope this is one of them. Many other uninhabited Monzie properties however remain in urgent need of repair, like the old schoolhouse, the West entrance cottage last inhabited by Mrs Orchiston in the 1970s, and the wonderful stables which should be protected as a listed building.
